I’m not saying 20 mins a game. But 8-12 per game depending on the situation and performance would be great while the vets are hurt.
For reference, Almomor plays 14.5 mpg. He is a 50% FG / 43% 3FG / 86% FT shooter. He averages 6.1 ppg and is a solid + defender, is 6-7, 215. He is the one needing more minutes. his 30 minute per game would be 12.5 / 4rpg / 1 assist
But if you want to give Noah some of Chandlers minutes, I am more than fine with that.
Chandler -6-5, 202 lbs. - 8.4 mpg- 1.4 ppg / 29% FG / 17% 3FG
Noah - 6-5, 220 lbs. - 6.1 mpg - 2.1 ppg / 58% FG / 50% 3FG ( in limited minutes) Maybe give Noah 4 of Chandler's 8.4 mpg for 10 mpg.
Perry - 6-1, 185 lbs. - 6.2 mpg - 1.5 ppg / 30% FG / 31% 3FG.
And I may get roasted for this, and I know Perry has made some key shots in a couple games, but his net production is not a positive one. He is not shooting it well, plus what little he does give offensively, he gives up more than that defensive. He is just not big enough or quick enough at this stage of his career to handle bigger, faster players. He gets abused.
By looking at it with the naked eye, Noah is the player of the 3 that deserves more minutes. And I get Perry is a PG and has to fill in because of injuries so he was thrown into action before he had a chance to get his feet under him, but his defense is what is the most glaring issue.
Also, Noah is NOT a PF, stop it. Yes he weighs 220 lbs., but he is only 6-5, a limited athlete, no hops, and not fleet of foot. 2G / SF is where he can use his size and make a difference. Chandler has done absolutely nothing to validate him getting the minutes he does, he will be a solid player in the future, but he scares the living shit out of me every time he touches the ball. I cringe and pray he passes it as soon as he gets it. If those 3 guys just improve their skills, get stronger, get their bodies right, they all will be nice rotational players in the future, probably their JR. years.
