Love that Westry wears #21. Also love that King wears #22. Both are great position numbers.

Ware looks the part. I remember seeing him at the catwalk when he visited as a recruit and thinking that he needed to put on a good amount of weight before we would be ready

We have some guys on this year's team that NFL scouts are going to be drooling over in the years to come

These coaches are just bringing in a different caliber of athlete that we haven't seen probably since the 1970's under Curci...not just offensive talent or defensive talent but guys all over the field..it's exciting

Today's talent are better overall than Curci's era. Team control is infinitely better as well. Curci's thugs (great players overall) kept the Lexington police department working overtime.

Look at Kings pic. Always though it was crazy when guys didn't have pads covering their knees.

I believe it was Terrell Owens who didn't wear any pads in his pants including thigh pads. Just rocked a girdle.

Well, Boom Williams is mentoring him. I'm sure the conversation started with how to wear the pants.

Guys develop those habits long before they get to college assuming they started playing in little league and all through high school. I'd be pretty surprised if Boom had anything to do with it. Most of the guys I played with in high school cut their knee pads in half to make them more mobile. Not wearing any at all seems pretty dangerous though

Wow Ware has totally changed his body. Gonna have a heckuva career here. So glad he got a redshirt.
