Did anyone else catch the out of line comment about Ray Davis? It was about the 8 minute mark in 4th quarter. The announcer said something like 9 months ago everyone wanted him but 11 years ago as a foster child no one wanted him. I thought that was totally uncalled for and should warrant an apology. Maybe I’m making too much out of it but damn that was unnecessarily harsh.

Fine line for sure...my guess is its something that he had discussed in their meetings with the players in prep for the game during the week. Didnt they mention that he works with the foster care system as well now or am I making that part up(its quite possible I am 3 kids make paying attention the the words difficult lol)

TOS did a story on Davis a few days ago. He was homeless as a 12y/o then a foster family took him in. Story is pretty inspirational IMO.

I know his story and I agree it is inspirational but the comment during the game was a piss poor way to discuss his story imo. You could and should say it better than the announcer.
Can't disagree.

Concern I now have is was he injured toward the end of the game? Radio said he hyperextended his knee and was in pain.

I didn't see anything wrong with his knee. He was holding his arm down when he came to the sideline. Looked like they were cutting tape from his wrist. Sure you're not thinking of Brown (I think that's who it was)? He limped off the field.

I see punctuation isn’t your strong suit either. Falling off your dinosaur does explain so much though.
Here is a quote from Davis. Looks like you will have to keep looking for stuff to be offended about.

“I would sit there for days upon days texting family members, texting friends asking someone to just take me in temporarily, just for maybe a day or two..." Davis said “But as the days go on, you start to realize that nobody wants you.”

Nope. He can say whatever he wants. The comment from the announcer was over the line. Sounds like Ray’s dad agrees with me. A quick glance around online, I see plenty that agree with me. You should do back to riding your dinosaur.

Stop being woke, and you are absolutely unnecessarily harsh for bringing this up. You have made a fool out of yourself for starting this thread.
The Davis background story, which is actually very inspiring, is well known. It's a major part of my Cats Pause preview magazine. There's no way in Hell this isn't written without details from Davis himself. In fact, he was extensively quoted.
Next time, know what you're talking about before popping off.

I know what I’m talking about jackass. I know the story and it can be referenced without being unnecessarily mean like the announcer was. Maybe you should know what you are talking about before popping off, asshole. We would be better off here if your parents didn’t want you.

You lost all credibility when you used the word woke.
