You think the slow pace is in Coen lol? One constant with OC's we had during our program the last 11 years is Stoops. You go through that many coaching changes at OC and the offense is still slow and putrid then it's all the coach. He wants it this way.
Not really Coen’s fault, word is Leary can drop the ball in a bushel basket from a quarter mile. Just been a little off this season.
Has to call deep ones because it’s in Barion’s contract since he can’t seem to hold to the slants, screens, and cross routes.

Leary may be able to throw it a quarter mile in a basket, but his receiver can't catch a pass they have little to no chance to adjust to...it's not a turkey shoot, you have to throw a catchable ball...
Yeah, just messing around. If Coen stuck to a ground attack and complemented it with an up tempo short passing game like we did vs UT then we’d probably be 8-3 right now.
There’s a lot of truth in this. UK moved away from what took them to the upper mid tier of the conference. We’ve lost our identity and look disjointed on offense. The backlash Stoops faced for the Gran offense has seemingly resulted in an over correction where we are now determined to do anything but come across as run heavy.
