I'd say Norm Chow is a pretty legit hot seat contender, but nobody really pays attention to Hawaii football anyway.
Norm Chow's pushing 70, don't know about a hot seat but his rocker might be getting warm.

LOL! That doesn't put Eliot on any hot seat. It takes several years of focused recruiting to put together playing rotations for an effective 3-4. If you can't see how much progress has already been made, then keep complaining until it dawns on you. Eliot isn't in any trouble at all. No Kentucky assistant coach is.Ya I'll bet on that. Like I said it's my hot seat list. I didn't say he's gonna be fired which he isn't cause him and. Mark are pals but he hasn't impressed me much in his coaching. Like i stated before I'm not sold on him and hasn't impressed me any at all. Just like our 3/4 D has not impressed me any.

LOL... UT's OC is Mike DeBoard. He just coached in his second game at Tennessee. No one at UT is on the hot seat.Have a cousin who's a UT graduate and fan. He said the OC is in trouble but not Jones. That makes sense because Jones has done such a great job recruiting that they have to have a fall guy to blame. UT fans have to be very happy that Charlie Strong turned them down and they ended up with Jones because Texas looks like a train wreck right now. Having said all that about Jones, I'm not a critic but not a fan either. He seems to love cliches. He's been a great recruiter there but they also have great facilities that even improved significantly around the time he was hired there. I remember the video of Derek Dooley chewing his gum his last year there and showing off their new training facility that was beyond impressive. Jones needs a good win on his resume.
I really don't think it's being a homer to say that Stoops appears to be the best hire. He's done an unbelievable job. Jones' best win at UT was beating South Carolina on the road last year when South Carolina was having a disappointing year already? Stoops has done that and inherited a worse situation.
Wasn't Mike MacIntyre (the son of the old Vandy coach) the coach who finished second to Stoops for the UK job? He hasn't done much at Colorado. I'm more intrigued by the coach who replaced him at San Jose State because he was on the Rich Brooks' staff and coach RBs like Rafael Little, etc. It will be interesting to see how he does.
What about James Franklin? He recruited well too at PSU but has been disappointing of the field. He walked into a great situation at Vandy and was left some elite players by the prior coach Bobby Johnson. I said it on here last year and I'll say it again. Bobby Johnson and the SEC East being extremely down had more to do with Franklin's success at Vandy than Franklin.

Keep in mind , it's not UK fans saying this . It's some blogger that appears to know very little about college football .
