Our kids fought hard and won a tough road game against a VERY good team!!!

This defense has been missing too long. A tribute to Joe B and coach Rupp

In 1964 after beating Tennessee, Coach Rupp was asked about the 1-3-1 defense. He replied,

“We never have played a zone defense and I doubt that we ever will."
But he was laughing.
And he added, "That was a stratified transitional hyperbolic paraboloid defense."
