I love Gargano, but....
AEW has too many guys to bring him in.
Maybe NWA?

Ring of Honor?? I do think you are right. AEW has too many of his type of wrestler, they can be choosy at this point about who they sign. Outside of Wyatt and maybe 2-3 more in the women's division, what does AEW really need? or even consider going forward?I love Gargano, but....

Actually Dave and Bryan both said the changes were due to dynamite beating raw in the 18-49. That has to be it. They’ve known football was starting for weeks. But all the changes were made after the dynamite ratings came out.So we are getting the Lashley-Orton match that was supposed to happen at Extreme Rules plus Big E says he's cashing in tonight.
Can't tell it's the first Monday Night Football game of the season can you?
I don’t know I’ve seen where people think this is just temporary. That Goldberg will beat big E for the title and then Lashley will face Goldberg and get his belt back. I’m assuming that happens in Saudi. That would be dumb if true but it fits what Vince would do.I take it that Lashley is going to Smackdown? Big E finally getting his much deserved push but weird timing to take the title off Lashley. He has been booked right for the first time in his career.
I don't understand Vince's hard on over Goldberg. He sucked in 1997 and sucks 24 years later. He doesn't deserve any sort of run with the belt, especially if he's just a part timer. That's also how I feel about Brock. He doesn't need to hijack the title unless he's there each week. I think E has paid his dues for sure deserves an opportunity but I honestly don't see him as a guy to carry the company unless they totally revamp his character and get him away from the New Day gimmick. Like Kofi, he's good but that's not a world champion. It'll be interesting how they play this out. I was kind of hoping it was going to be Drew's way back into the title.I don’t know I’ve seen where people think this is just temporary. Big E has more than earned a title run. Unless he’s just horrible I’d keep it on him til the Rumble or WM atleast.
This is why we can’t have nice thingsSo Bron Breaker is Rick Steiner’s kid.
He was supposed to be Rex Steiner but got the wonderful WWE name change.
Oh dear god. How pathetic. A second generation guy, fans could’ve been drawn to him…nope, let’s give him a stupid name. They cut off Suzuki’s entrance and music last week. Probably because they were running short on time.
I think it’s hilarious they turned it into an angle.
So Bron Breaker is Rick Steiner’s kid.

I have been in south Louisiana a lot and he looks like he is Creole. They are typically a mix of white, black and even native American.
I don't think Vince will EVER let a wrestler use his real name again from here on out if it can absolutely, possibly in any way be helped. So Bron Breaker is Rick Steiner’s kid.

Starks was born in New Orleans in 1990, so your hypothesis checks out.I have been in south Louisiana a lot and he looks like he is Creole. They are typically a mix of white, black and even native American.
I get both sides. As a fan, I’ll always side with talent over a company. But I totally get not letting their intellectual propriety just walk out and enrich someone else.I don't think Vince will EVER let a wrestler use his real name again from here on out if it can absolutely, possibly in any way be helped.
I think WWE and Vince see part of their "failing" is allowing wrestlers to have control of their names, like having their birth name, or their self-developed-and-controlled indy name (CM Punk), or a very similar-sounding name in WWE (Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson), such that wrestlers can jump between feds without losing name recognition or any confusion as to who they are. They don't have to be re-built into a new character, and that instant mobility of character gives those wrestlers an advantage in negotiating contracts....which WWE will forever and always want to strip from them.
A lot of the wrestlers in AEW came from the indies and kept their indy names. Very few that appear on Dynamite or Rampage have a name developed by AEW. So TK is bucking that industry standard. Will giving the wrestlers more leverage result in TK "creating monsters" who defect to WWE for $$$ down the road, or will the goodwill of giving them that leverage result in their trust and loyalty?I get both sides. As a fan, I’ll always side with talent over a company. But I totally get not letting their intellectual propriety just walk out and enrich someone else.
If they take an established property before they get to WWE and then change it, that’s just dumb. But I guess that’s why they’re going to that wcw power plant type crap where they just groom everyone from the ground up as WWE.
Does all this copyrighting even matter in today's environment? Everyone knows Miro/Rusev, Asuka/Kana, Seth Rollins/Tyler Black....etc... The ones that have the same name regardless of promotion are typically huge already AJ Styles, CM Punk, Sting... I may be wrong, but copyrighting names just seems an outdated business model that doesn't account for the Internets influence on the business.A lot of the wrestlers in AEW came from the indies and kept their indy names. ...and does it even matter if WWE brings in a well-established wrestler with a well-established name from AEW...and still insists on changing his/her name so they can copyright it?
I think what you may be seeing is people that got them through some kind of presale because according to WDRB, tickets don't go on sale until Friday at 10. Tickets as low as $20.I was going to get my son and his friends some tickets to raw…holy crap. The cheapest are $80!!
I wouldn’t even go for free, but crap…
Oh good. I’ll fudge that for them. I guess that’s what they sawI think what you may be seeing is people that got them through some kind of presale because according to WDRB, tickets don't go on sale until Friday at 10. Tickets as low as $20.
