Probably not but out of respect to him they could have thrown him a bone at the end of his career for all he did for WWF.

Don't get me wrong Jake deserved a title run more than damn near anyone in the last 20 years. But to me it would have been just like Pipers IC run. I mean cool he got to carry around a belt but that was hardly a defining moment of his career.
I've actually read stuff from wrestlers before that said with the exception of the world title, being a champ is really just a pain in the ass because you have to carry that damn belt around and get it through security and what not. But thats been quite a while. I can't imagine WWE does that anymore.
Ok they don’t “suck” but they’re certainly overrated. Makes me laugh whenever I hear people say they’re one of the best tag teams wwe has ever had or in all of wrestling right now.
Nia’s punches were a worse offense than the back drop IMO. I’ve seen some people try to say she didn’t really hit Charlotte but you can tell atleast 2 of these landed hard. Nia is disgusting. I’ve never bought into people saying Charlotte would leave to join Andrade and Ric but if she keeps getting treated like this then it may happen.
But they are one of the best tag teams in the world. I need to hear specifically what about them is overrated. Do you enjoy watching the young bucks? The Usos work actual matches that make sense. The bucks struggle on the mic if we are being honest they don’t always sound believable. I don’t see how the Usos who are over in a tag team division in the WWE where it’s extremely hard to get over…..I’m just not sure how you could consider them overrated.

If a team or wrestler works in WWE, the poster you’re quoting won’t like them and will shit on them. He’s an AEW fanboi. Many of us are capable of watching AEW and WWE and pointing out good and bad aspects of both products.

Priest has it! He’s a little monotone but he knows how to deliver on the mic. He’s got a good build and has solid in ring work. If I were a betting man, I bet Vince would like him to be about 270 opposed to 250 but he’s got all the tools. He’s 38 so he’s going to need to be rocket strapped but I can see him becoming a major player going forward.
The way I've heard that Charlotte/Nia match explained is that Nia gave Charlotte that horribly crappy and dangerous back drop, Charlotte tried to give her a receipt (which is what you see in the video posted above by Zay), and Nia got pissed about it.

Seems like it. It’s crazy. 3 years ago if you’d told me Punishment Martinez would be the top guy in wwe I’d called you crazy. But credit to him he got himself in better shape in that time frame. His only downside is he’s already 40.

I could name 10 tag teams better than the Usos off the top of my head. They’re over in wwe because they’re one of like 2-3 teams that actually stay together more than a year. They aren’t in the same league as the bucks.

Piper won the belt from the Mountie at the 92 Royal Rumble then dropped it to Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 8. It was a nice gesture by Piper to put Hart over by a clean pinfall. I was glad to see Piper get a belt for a while, but like you said he never needed one to get over.

If you were to go back in this 5-year-old thread, my disdain for the Bucks isn’t new. It existed long before AEW or the Bullet Club. They just never were my cup of tea, dating back to Generation Me in TNA.
I am curious to see those 10 current teams you think are better than the Usos. I agree the Usos aren’t an all-time great tag team, but I’d put them in the top 5 of tag teams that exist today.

Orndorff held tons of titles. Jerry Jarrett gave him his break and put the southern title on him (although the title was behind the big feud between Lawler vs Dundee in summer of 77). He also the North American title, was nwa tag champ with Jimmy Snuka, National champ in Georgia among others
Hope they give FTR vs Santana/Ortiz 20+ minutes to tear the house down. I don’t understand why they seem to clip all the promos between those two. It’s a feud that has actually built some heat.

I hope so too. I would think they would seeing the last match ended with it being rushed due to Cash’s injury (or Dax? I get them confused). Anyways, idk how much of the injury is a work. I mean I know the injury is legit and it looked gruesome, but is this really their last match? Is he really having nerve issues with his hand? Idk how much is legit.
