This can't be good news right?? NXT did 711,000 viewers last night which was up for a second straight week. By the way that logo is awful.
I do design work and that nxt, along with the Big 10 (B1G), are two of the worst I’ve ever seen
NXT has been in decline for a while.
Now they are done recruiting indies, which was the lifeblood of NXT
Now Vince wants to run the show too?
NXT roster is going to be filled with a bunch of guys who could snap into a roid rage at any minute and hardly any of them will have any wrestling or mic skills.
NXT is dead to me.
Tony Khan just announced due to travel issues Andrade and PAC won’t happen this weekend. Will happen at a later date.
That was going to be a great match too. Pac is a special talent.
I would like to see Proud and Powerful win the tag titles at one of the New York shows.

Former UofL fitness center proposed as pro wrestling academy
The facility is located at 601 Presidents Boulevard, just off Eastern Parkway and blocks east of UofL's Belknap campus.
I maybe looking into more than what’s there and getting worked but I think FTR is unhappy and will leave when their contracts end.
Dax has been grumpy on Twitter for months. Someone posted the other day that they can’t wait to see ftr vs the bucks again and Dax just replied “Lol.” Then I listed to that Cornette link posted here about punks return and Brian Last made a quick remark about FTR saying they were just brought to AEW to be buried and that we had no idea. I’m sure ftr talks to them two. Like I said, I could just be reading into things too much but it’s what it seems like.

I help out with a wrestling game called Filsinger Games legends of wrestling. It’s not a video game, but a card/dice tabletop game. I know we have some old Memphis fans here and they are releasing a Memphis version, which will include, in all likelihood, Bill Dundee, The Fabulous ones, Tommy Rich and a few others that I can’t name until they’re announced (note: no Jerry Lawler since he’s under contract with the WWE)
I’ll be doing a giveaway when it comes out in the end of November. A little bit away, but announcements will start in mid October. Just something to keep in mind.
If anyone is interested, I’ll put your name in a hat and draw them out. And if the game isn’t your thing, you can get some cool art for free

And why are 2.0 and Garcia being brought in and given lots of screen time with all the talent AEW already has (but aren't utilizing)?
Former WCW star Daffney went live on Instagram last night with threats of suicide. Apparently she moved just a week ago and gave no one her new address, which has complicated getting help to her. Her current status is still unknown.

Ya but I don’t foresee them being used quite that often - just hope they aren’t going to get the fans burned out too quick on him - how many things thst can he promo about - omg he did a gts that’ll move the needle

And I love how the marks have moved the goalposts - well we thought punk would get us to 1.5 million but wait until Bryan and Wyatt debut then we will get there!
Yeah I agree that is confusing to watch an old Jake the Snake match and see guys rendered unconscious after a DDT but then see 5 variants of a DDT in a match today and they kick out of every single one. Was Jake just that good at the DDT or are todays guys just that bad? The same could be said for most finishing moves of the past like a figure 4, frog splash, sharpshooter, etc.
Arguing with this group is pointless. They make hyperbole predictions based on debut pops and completely disregard that novelty soon wears off. This isn't Stone Cold where everyone has to regularly check in weekly. Anyone who is watching AEW was already a wrestling fan.
I am fine with Don Callie as he is the glue I think holding the Elite together and is a good promo. Sonny kiss is irrelevant. Now Janella is being used again on Dark and has some muscular chick as his bodyguard. So instead of dropping him, they’re just using him with someone else. Stupid. I like 2.0 and Garcia. Apparently brass see something in them and I’m glad they do.
People are saying they could see the gun on the stream. Reading off her suicide letter. Last I read was that they made contact with her.
This is so sad - any way they can ping her phone or stream and locate close to where she might be?
I think someone brought it up in here already, but it does seem like Garcia and 2.0 are part of some bigger plan. Maybe with Punk, Danielson, or both. It’s kind of odd they showed up out of nowhere and have been involved with a lot AEW’s top guys already.
PPV is looking pretty good, wish they could’ve had something for Black though. I have been enjoying his work so far in AEW.

Agreed, but I would like to see Black vs Dustin though. Dustin is one of the older guys I wish AEW would use a little more. I’d take him any day over the likes of Gunn Club or whatever QT is doing.
Yup yup yup. Ever since his first match against Cody, I’ve enjoyed Dustin’s matches in AEW. They’re nothing flashy, but he can tell a good story in ring. Black vs Punk will be fun.
As much as we complain about the crowdedness of the AEW roster right now, there are a lot of dream matches we can do. That’s fun to with fantasy booking, but can keep things fresh for awhile.
We have a very WWE-centric tendency to think if AEW wrestlers are not on our televisions, they are not being utilized. But a lot of them are doing outside work, for example Daniel Garcia currently holds the top belt in Limitless Wrestling, which is based in Maine, and defended it . Territories2.0 changing the wrestling landscape.
This is not a positive change. We went from someone kicking out of a finisher rarely and only in the biggest matches to guys routinely kicking out of finishers in random TV matches. Same with dives to the floor. Went from an occasional spot to damn near every match.
I am not a huge fan of high flying wrestlers but I have to say that I love watching the Lucha Brothers. Those 2 are insanely talented and deserve the belts soon.

And this is why I don’t get so butt hurt when it comes to payroll for AEW. Most of these guys aren’t big payroll at AEW and making in the Indy scene. Archer is still working with NJPW while working Indy dates. Brian Cage was at AAAmania and working Indy dates. Pullman Jr is doing warrior wrestling. Rosa is also doing warrior wrestling and I believe has her own promotion? But a lot of these guys are roster are working elsewhere and making bank on merch and these Indy shows.
I hope she is ok, but I was genuinely surprised that Daffney was still around and that people would actually watch her on Instagram
She was always hot in a bat shit crazy kinda way. The type of lady who enjoys ass to mouth.
