**Cats vx Mizzou game chat**

I think Chance Poor is our holder. Not sure who back up holder would be if Poore kicks
Well someone holds for him in practice (likely Ruff). And the holder is traditionally back up QBs in case you need to run fire off a broke play/bad snap

No bubble screens today, because everybody bitched last week. I do not know if that is improvement, or not.

Did we seriously let them kneel it out from their own 5 yard-line with 30 seconds and all 3 timeouts? At least make them punt it and see if you get a bad snap or a big return. Just embarrassingly non-aggressive coaching there.
Unreal !!! Make them punt from the EZ
He’s been referring to the turf toe. He isn’t able to roll out or step up like he normally would.
BULLSHIT !!! What are you smoking ?

Lol yeah because he blocks for himself. 3 of those sacks had nothing to do with him.

Wrong. Literally every sack today is on him. I hoped that UT was a one off. Looked good first drive. Then fell apart.

What would you call ??
just curious ...

Exactly. Mizzou stacking the line daring Levis to beat them. QB was lucky to avoid a pick 6. Missing reads. Holding the ball. Causing negative plays.

Not exactly tons in the playbook for those parameters. Can't really trust him to even go screen because we saw earlier this year he's as likely to throw a pick 6 on that too if they're playing man.

I’m seeing what the announcers and the people working the desk at the SEC network are seeing. A qb hampered by turf toe vastly limiting his mobility to roll out and having one of the worst o lines in the country. Not being able to establish the run doesn’t help

I don't see Mizzou scoring in this half so Stoops just needs to run clock from here on out. This is his game.

I think the OC did some good stuff early in the year, but but they've lost all faith in the OLine and have no idea what to do. Got to come up with soemthing different, they just keep running the same super safe plays and its not ever going to beat anyone the defense doesn't shut out. The scripted first drive was great. Gave up some big sacks and it's all out the window. Only hope is the Missouri D slows down a step as the game goes on and CRod can get going.

Positives.
Offense went right down the field to score on their first possession.
Defense came up big including a fumble recovery and a 4th down stop after the 30-yard punt.

More please.

Let Levi’s operate from the gun this half - he’s more comfortable back there and it will give mizzou a different look. I know it won’t happen but one can hope
Yep. He sees the field better from the gun as well. Then speed the tempo up a little bc we seem to find a better rhythm when we are getting a little energy into the O

Don't forget this MO D has given up only 8 TDs to its 5 previous SEC opponents so they're not going to give UK too many chances. UK had favorable field position most of the first half but could only manage 7 points. Opening drive to start the second half will be key, if UK doesn't score on it they'll probably lose.

And it might be 10 years before we have another top quarterback! Stoops is definitely not famous for recruiting Quarterbacks!

Big difference between a top college QB and a top NFL prospect. Levis is the latter. If we have stetson Bennet, we have one loss at most right now.

Agree. It isn't now this offense works but he's really struggling seeing the field right now. Maybe some gun and limiting the actual drop back will help him.

Also curious if he hasn't been practicing. That could explain why he suddenly fell of a cliff in terms of playing the position
