Cats in Summer League

I love the average and homeruns, but 43 strikeouts in 139 AB's is a lot.

You also have to remember, they don't have the best umpires in the summer leagues. These guys are also working on their approach at the plate. Not swinging at bad pitches, working on top hand, etc. They could be taking a lot because they aren't willing to chase and developing bad habits. Also consider where they are in the lineup and what is their role, are they a setup guy or what?

So, how would you guys (and gals) like the updates to look? Do you want me to just edit the old stats to reflect today or add the new stats so you can compare from last month?

I just did all of it... Rivals rejected it for being over the word limit. Lost it all.

:(

Update is, after many trials and tribulations, available!!! You can find the updated stats on the second post of this page. I wanted it to be easy for everyone to compare and contrast any changes from end of June to end of July.

Looks like Coleman, Hazelwood, and McGeorge are our top pitching canidates along with Z Thompson of course. D Reed, M Gei had solid seasons this summer at the plate.

Hazelwood was filthy. Would have liked to have seen better numbers from Ramsey and a few others.

Not a ton of eye popping play this summer. Gei and Reed and Hill were all pretty impressive, but we have to have more step up. Guys like Shinn and Johnson struggling is hard to take though.

Agree with your thoughts. Hopefully Collette will be healthy and productive, I forgot to mention C Hill and J Shelby, they could really help us a lot also.
