Cal vs Pitino, what's your thoughts, it's going to happen Saturday

Pitino lost the game by being so sure they will come back in second half and hold his o best players on the bench with foul troubles in first half. I am so surprised that his team has no one that is a reliable 3 point shooter……

This will be Cals last year doing anything of significance and they won't make it too much further in this tourney. I think this one satisfies his ego and he goes back to being what we are used to.

Cal wouldn't be so disliked if he had done things right. He didn't and screwed us over. Now he's at Ark and he wants to show everybody what's what.

Its hard for us now and it leaves a bitter taste. We all know how it goes though. This is gonna be Arks biggest year with Cal. Not because he is a bad coach. Because he lost his fire. All we are seeing is a dying flame sputtering a few more times. Getting to the sweet 16 will be good enough for him.

I wish he wouldn't have left on such bad terms so I could cheer for him. But as of now I'm just waiting to play them again with a real team. We have to sit and grit our teeth this year. Pope is going to put us back on top. I firmly believe it.

This just shows how bad sec refs are to be honest. You get teams on neutral floors with dif refs and they actually have a chance. It's one of the reasons UK made runs in 2011 and 2014

I’m not mad at him.
He did some good things for UK.
He was was too stubborn and too arrogant.
He did us a favor by taking the Arkansas job.
Arkansas fans are happy right now now.
They may advance to E8, but no F4.
Then they lose their roster to portal and draft. He will never again be as motivated to win as he was today.

So it looks like Arkansas is going to win and be in the sweet 16 and maybe a chance for an elite 8.

I would argue, had he stayed at Kentucky we would have missed the tournament all together.

Arkansas was very close to missing.
The pressure of being at Kentucky plus our harder schedule, and as we know teams playing harder due to Kentucky across our chest... it would be a worse record than Arkansas.

Now granted I guess we would have a few different players but also probably wouldn't have Aidoo, Brazille or Davis


Just a reminder, Cal won like 2 post season games in his 5 last years... i loved Cal but I'll be pissed at those last 5 years for a long time...more so at Barney and the dumb contract he gave Cal that forced us to keep him 2 or 3 years too long.

It was the lying directly to our faces with Mitch right beside him and then leaving a week later. If he knew he was leaving why not try to do it the right way. Everyone was asking for it anyway. It was time.

I notice a hogs fan running around in her @HamuelLJackson. Don't get it wrong I'm happy for your fans. I read about one on your boards who has a 90 year old mother who lives and dies Arkansas basketball. So I think about her when you guys win. I'm happy for the fans.

Cal will show you who he is. He will probably continue to get talent and make a shallow run in the first year or two. That is great for a program with less conference titles than ours has national titles. Luckily those don't matter anymore for you guys.
