All of Cal’s recruits the last 5 years all have the same mentality. They have no intention of representing the university. They are only here for Cal and themselves to get to the league. It’s such a drastic change to Pope’s boys. Losing doesn’t seem to bother Arkansas players.

I don’t think Cal has had a genuine Xs and Os guy on his coaching staff since the day he dumped Robic. Seems he now just wants to surround himself with glorified recruiters and Yes men that he knows will kiss his ass and tell him how great he is.

That's stupid on their AD's part. No other P4 school was beating Cal's door down to hire him. Arkansas had the leverage because Cal didn't want to face the heat at UK any longer and wanted to hire Brad to his staff, which UK wasn't going to allow.

I don't understand why these AD's back themselves into a corner unless you have an all-timer like Saban on the sideline/court. No coach is bigger than the program.

Fixed that score threshold for you 😉 ... in league play, Arkansas has only broken the 70 point barrier once, and even then, they scored 74.

So, even with subpar defense, if the Cats can score the 80s, it should be too much for Arkansas to keep up.
