They wouldn’t be any coach out there that wouldn’t have their best 3 point shooter in the game.
He was gonna run the picket fence for Jimmy but Brooks looked at everyone in the huddle and said I will make it. So last second change and the rest is history.

No way was that a good call. In a clutch situation you don’t give the ball to Brooks for a 3. You have to run something to get Mintz the look.
If Cal had a team with Steph Curry, Craig Hodges, Larry Bird, Doron Lamb , and Ray Allen and would still forbid them from shooting threes. But he calls for a three for Brooks.
Tubby actually had a better record his last 5 years than Cal’s had. Let that sink in.
