I don't think Pope would've been hired before last year. He was coming off a 19-15 season and had a losing record in the WCC. Fans really would've lost their minds if he was the hire before last year. We were really sold on him having a decent year in the B12 last year.

Him broadcasting is a terrible idea. He would frikkin ramble on and rarely if ever make an actual point. Plus, he’s awful at analyzing what’s going on in a game.
