You rebel!!!And speaking of that, I think this will be the last time I give that man any of my attention or time.
I’m so glad we no longer have to watch that guy’s routine after each UK game. Goodness gracious, did his schtick ever get old after awhile.
He really isn't. He was blind sided by his bluff being called and with him basically giving UK a golden parachute out of the contract. You could tell when he walked into his introductory presser, he was still stunned at it all.Watched the whole thing… he is not happy.
We were posting at the same time.
That hornet's nest comment ought to get a lot of buzz.I can't believe they left out when he was asked about Drew interviewing for the UK job and if Cal had talked to him. Cal said something to the effect of Drew has it good at Baylor so why would he want to walk into that hornet's nest.
No kidding...I had to rewind it to make sure I heard it right. That hornet's nest comment ought to get a lot of buzz.

He is trying to paint himself as the victim... and he is the one THAT LEFT.Especially when he admits that Arkansas ran off their previous coach......and has a history of doing that -- moreso than even Kentucky. I LOL when the narrative is suggested that Arkansas fans are kind and rational. They are like sweatier Kentucky fans with an 1/8th of tradition.
But, in terms of Baylor, sure....... Drew certainly has it made at Baylor. Never wanted him here anyways. Bullet dodged.
He didn't leave. He got caught trying to strong arm Mitch. He was betting UK would side with him and replace Mitch with his buddy Peavey. Had that happened, we would've been stuck with Cal for who knows how long. And how much FURTHER damage would've been done to the program. Cal didn't leave, his ego screwed him. And, personally, I don't think he ever wanted to be at Arkansas. He was just using that booster money as a threat. After the sports world found out about the ridiculous plot, Arkansas was about the only real school that would've touched him. Again, my opinion. He is trying to paint himself as the victim... and he is the one THAT LEFT.
He wants to be the villain, then when he gets booed unmercifully at Rupp... he will give backhanded compliments and play it up
