Kentucky wins 2 in a row. IU loses its 18th straight in Kohl’s center. IU sucks.
Wow. I know Wisconsin's been the better program for the last 20 years and Kohl Center is a tough place to play, but if you asked me if they'd won 18 straight over Indiana at home, I wouldn't have believed it.
Know how Kentucky fans felt for the month of December?

A one-year shot to maybe make the NCAA tournament for the fifth time in 13 years, then back to the NIT pool when Trayce Jackson-Davis leaves.
No realistic shot to add to that ONE appearance past the Sweet 16 since 1993.
Virtually no chance to finally win any kind of tournament - Big Ten Conference or NCAA - for the first time since the Reagan administration.
Yeah, it’s a program on the rise.
I wouldn't 100% count on TJD leaving after this season.
Too limited a player at the next level. Can't use his right hand and zero jumper. He can literally only score inside 5 feet.
Comes from a wealthy family, doesn't need the money.
It's possible I guess, but he won't be a lottery pick until he fixes his issues.
Also, I think a lot of other young players are showing good improvement. That's what you want to see, obviously.
Much better defensively and even without their second best player, Armaan Franklin, the offense is coming around. Especially Jerome Hunter.
They should be a tough out for anybody going forward, but we'll see.

Well, this post didn’t age well. How many straight losses is this to Purdue? Eight? Hahahahaha. My god, that’s embarrassing. That has to sting almost as much as being terrible for 30 years.
Is it really a big win anymore? I mean they've now won 5 straight there, they flat out own us. It's become a walk in the park for them.
Even I agree with the premise of this thread, this program is a flat out embarrassment. Can't shoot, no size, a coach on his way out, apathetic fans, and an administration that couldn't give a shit about winning. IU hasn't been a blue blood in over 20 years.

Not even sure what your last line means. Our team sucks pretty good this year. And by “we” I mean UK. I didn’t sign up in 2010 and carried on a facade for over 10 years now. Maybe some others do but I’m not that dedicated for such a crappy cause.
I understand it fine. Still find it funny having a thread dedicated to a team that sucks when we suck currently but by all means carry on. Also believe IU has beat us 2 out of the last 3. Not a good look there either but meh!!

I'm a little curious. How old are you? Have you ever even seen Indiana play in the Elite Eight or beyond? Have you ever seen Indiana win a post-season tournament of any kind - B-10 or NCAA?
You could be in your 20s, and not remember Indiana going as far as Kentucky did in the very last NCAA tournament played -- the Elite Eight.
You could be in your mid-30s and only remember Indiana getting past the Sweet 16 once -- something Kentucky has done seven times in the last ten tournaments.
You could be nearly 40 and not remember Indiana ever winning a tournament of any kind, even a B-10 conference tournament.
That's sucking. Not having an off year with a robust roster of stars and returnees coming in next year to make sure Kentucky only takes one step in the direction of Indiana Ineptness.

Sure, IU's been down a long time. I've seen IU win national championships but that was obviously a long time ago.
