What has Miller ever really accomplished besides the one year he won a few games in the tournament at Dayton.Just curious...Exactly how is Miller a disaster? He took over a shipwreck. Last year, injuries crippled him; IU was 12-2 before the injuries took its toll. Then, when everyone was healthy, IU went 5-2 to close the year. So with a full roster, Indiana was 17-4. W/o, they were 2-12. Recruiting is solid, and getting better. He's keeping the elite talent at home; sans Brooks. Now, if this year IU again misses the NCAAT---Then I'll begin to worry. But if this team stays healthy, that doesn't happen. MOF, IF all goes well, I think this team will be really good. He's setting a nice foundation. I'd place a nice wager you are waaaaay off here my friend. Miller can coach.

Seems like an “OK” coach but that’s it just ok. I don’t think he has what it’s gonna take to get IU back how they were in the 80’s.
Oh, man---this is rich. A UK fan, calling someone out b/c of "excuses"? This coming from a fan base, where some blame the officials after every, single loss. Or feels the NCAA is out to get them....Or talks of what would have been if WCS or Poythress had not gotten hurt. And you are chastising me, about "some kind if excuse"?
Okay...![]()
BUMP
Preseason number 10... in the B1G hahaha!
I think IU is overrated.@IUfanBorden ... what gives? 10th in your own conference?

You’ve just defined the two programs:
1. Kentucky fans make excuses for not going 40-0 or losing in the Final Four, or championship game.
2. Indiana fans make excuses for failing to make the NIT.
Yeah, all fans make excuses. But not all excuses are equal.
No, I think it validates they were a legit program. Past tense. Having dealt or dealing with iu fans is what brings the joy to this thread. Obnoxious, does not begin to describe them. In fact, it’s too kind for them.Anyone ever think that having this running thread validates they’re a legit program?
Excuse after excuse. If UK had not made mistakes, got some bad calls and made more shots we would have at least 5 more titles.Just curious...Exactly how is Miller a disaster? Way back, like near the bottom of the BIG.No, for real. Y’all gonna be good this year.
IU is back!
NiceUK ranked number 1. Poor Indiana not even remotely relevant or ranked. Hahahha

during cal’s tenure.Excuse after excuse. If UK had not made mistakes, got some bad calls and made more shots we would have at least 5 more titles.
IU sucketh.Cmon guys. IU beat Portland State, so how can you think they suck? Oh, it was in Bloomington and they only won by 11. Ok, yeah, they suck.
I think you are underselling a hard-fought home win over Portland State. It isn’t like PSU was 270 in KenPom rankings. They were actually 272.Cmon guys. IU beat Portland State, so how can you think they suck? Oh, it was in Bloomington and they only won by 11. Ok, yeah, they suck.
Liberty, Vermont, and San Diego st are all ranked higher than IU! LMFAO

Where's Evansville ranked?
I'm kinda gonna doubt that.
Then it just goes to show how little you know. In this week's AP Poll, Evansville received 43 votes, enough to put them in 30th place. IU did not receive a vote, putting them tied for last.
I guarantee they played us a LOT tougher than IUsedtobe could. By far! After the upset of your Wildcats, Evansville lost 3 in a row to these major programs: SMU, East Carolina and George Washington.
They then beat Morgan State in 3 overtimes.
But yeah.......I'm sure Evansville was a quality opponent for UK.
The REAL question: Which program -- IU or Evansville -- has been relevant in college basketball in the past quarter century?
Trick question: Neither, though Indiana has been past the Sweet 16 more often in that time -- ONCE. (That has to be the most mind boggling stat associated with any basketball program that ever had a claim to being near-Elite. One trip past the Sweet 16 in 27 seasons. Kentucky, by comparison, has been at least to the Elite Eight SIXTEEN TIMES in that span, with three championships and EIGHT Final Fours. There is your comparison of the two programs, not one game in November.)
