Bump this thread when Indiana sucks

iu is not going to the tournament. the hardest part of their schedule is looming. they’ll make the nit though so let’s not scoff at their improvement.

Seth Davis made a case for IUsed2B getting an NCAA bid with a 4-8 record in the B1G.

I'd worry more about beating UNC and UL, then what IU has or hasn't done. Lose both of those, and your beloved Cats may find themselves in the NIT for the second time under Lord Cal.

This one aged so well.

UK won both by double digits and is in conversation for a 1 seed. IU is fighting for its bubble life and did itself zero favors this week by losing both of its games AT HOME.

You guys better stop making sh*t up about where IU is at as a program and start worrying about beating a mediocre Alabama team. Things aren't looking good.

So how do you think things look now? You're right about one thing, it doesn't look good for IU, unless the NIT was your goal. As for UK, we are top 5 in the country, and moving up. See ya, wouldn't want to be ya.

And I called this one....it took until January for them to start turning on each other and yelling for Pee-Wee to be fired. I said December so maybe they're actually making progress. I guess no more "We're Back" post until next year.

We are atrocious, I'm done with this administration.

I'm glad that you have come back to reality. Not so much for some of your IU brethren since they are already saying that once you get Brooks, all will be right with the world. I am not so sure. I guess we'll see.

"It’s another bad day in an increasingly bad season for an IU basketball team whose record now stands at 13-11 overall, 4-9 in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers are in danger of missing the NCAA tournament, the NIT and those rinky-dink postseason tournaments that nobody around here wants to play in, anyway.

More than that, worse than that if you ask me, the Hoosiers are in danger of wasting their one season with Romeo Langford.

A recruit like this comes along … how often? Let’s not go revisionist history and decide that maybe Romeo wasn’t all that good after all. He was, and still is. I spoke at length with an NBA scout Sunday who told me Romeo remains a no-brainer top-10 pick in the 2019 NBA draft and could approach the top five (assuming he enters the draft).

Romeo is IU's lone offensive genius, averaging 17.5 points per game, even if too often he’s standing in the corner, doing nothing. He had those two bursts Sunday, but he played 38 minutes and didn’t go to the foul line once. That’s the only time this season Romeo has failed to shoot a free throw, but it’s not exactly a fluke. Too many minutes — too many games — have come and gone without Romeo giving any indication that he’s the best athlete on the floor.

IU basketball needs a hero, and he's the only guy good enough to wear the cape."
