There simply has to be accountability. Particularly with what Cal, assistant coaches and MB make .

I have practiced law over thirty years . I firmly believe Cal can be fired for cause . He clearly had a conflict this season and did not act in the interest of his employer . In civil rights cases you can prove much of your case by statistics . Same should be true here . We played enough games for analytics to be valid . He answered to Klutch not UK and that is a fireable offense .

I'm not an atty but I have said for at least a couple of years (maybe more) that he could be fired for cause. I'm glad as an atty that you posted this. Thanks.

I have been practicing law for 41 years and had more than 100 jury trials and I see. no grounds based on the language in his contract that defines “cause” that there are substantial facts to fire Cal for cause. Moreover, he would have contested it and the case would have been a public relations nightmare for UK.
