Yes White had a masterful scheme.
1. Our bigger than normal DLine..could hold the LOS and we played our LB to run down hill and screaming to fill the holes and end the UF running game.
2. White coached discipline in rushing the passer...keep your lanes and when Richardson tried to escape...Jordan Wright plays center of LOS as a spy...and runs him down like a hunting dog runs down.
3. Valentine played a great game....they went at him a few times and he was blanking them on competitive balls.... UK was screaming down hill on all those short screens UF tried. UK DBs were blowing that play up and took it away from AR 15...
4. When UK took away the QB run stuff and AR15 short screens....UF was toast. UK challenged him to stay in pocket and stick deep balls, intermediate balls....and AR15 failed in epic fashion. AR15 made Terry Wilson look like Drew Brees. How anyone can argue AR15 is talented and close to really good, etc...just baloney. Inaccurate QBs who can't make good decisions throughout a game need to be either option QBs or safeties....there is little place in legit offense for QBs like AR15....he is a better version of Joey Gatewood.
The kryptonite to White/Stoops scheme are accurate passing teams when our DLine can't rush the pass well and pick apart our zone schemes. We'll see how UK fares vs. UT and Miss St as our next tests.
