Brad White brilliant game plan

Defense essentially outscored their offense 12-3(laying the one touchdown on the offense coughing it up)

The thing about going into the Florida game for Kentucky is they had to play a ranked team and had to show a lot on film to win. The flip side Kentucky didn’t have to. I think Brad White will scheme the hell out of this game and I’m starting to rethink my prediction 🍺

Great scheme against Richardson

When Jordan Wright hogtied his azz down on the sideline he didn’t want to run anymore and he was toast mentally too

White owned him
Please stop you are going to make me cry tears of joy….

AR-15’s longest gain was 4 yards on the ground.

Yes, White schemed to spy him, but also
alternated spy’s.

As to our now out scheming other teams, a defense that can play 25 or 30 bodies, and bring consistent size, length and talent helps
make a Coach look brilliant.

Wish we would have stuck with the TE more in second half but can’t fault results.
I think he pulled the LB's away from the box to cover the TE's and that opened up the run. LB's have to cover the multiple TE's and they can't be in more than one place at a time. When the TE's were blocking UF packed the box making the run impossible. Great play calling.

We have some really great teachers as assistants right now. But I am concerned we don't have enough recruiters. Scang and Yenser are new to recruiting. Settle has never been a recruiter. Woodward is fairly new to it. Obviously, I wouldn't trade Marrow for any other TE coach. Anwar is new to it. Mike Stoops is solid. Collins and Buffano are new as well. This inexperience combined with being behind on NIL is why we're behind in recruiting. Hopefully with more experience and Mitch getting his head outta the sand, we can carve out another solid class.

Yep. I think the radio guys said he made some money tonight.
Serious Question. How much do you think Stoops is involved in that stuff. Game plan, scheme coronation of the defense particularly. He was a hell of a coordinator at FSU that got him his job at Kentucky. Did he give the rains to Brad White? It would be hard for me to make it big and not be in full control of my bread n butter.

It really was a great game plan.

The kid is lethal with his legs. We spied him all night and took that away. A lot of teams go into a game planning to contain a mobile QB and fail miserably. We did it to perfection. I think Richardson had 4 total rushing yards?

He's clearly not an elite passer. We made him beat us with his arm. He could not do it. He had a couple of spectacular throws, but he finished 14/35 for 143 yards and 2 INT's. He averaged just over 4 yards per attempt.

You also have to give a lot of props to the recruiting and the training/development folks. Years past, Florida's guys were just bigger and faster. This year, that was us. We beat them to all their spots. We hit them in the mouth.

Florida adjusted to our TE’s and that opened up our run game. They lightened the box so when they did that we ran the football. Scans did a great job taking what the defense was giving

Yes White had a masterful scheme.

1. Our bigger than normal DLine..could hold the LOS and we played our LB to run down hill and screaming to fill the holes and end the UF running game.
2. White coached discipline in rushing the passer...keep your lanes and when Richardson tried to escape...Jordan Wright plays center of LOS as a spy...and runs him down like a hunting dog runs down.
3. Valentine played a great game....they went at him a few times and he was blanking them on competitive balls.... UK was screaming down hill on all those short screens UF tried. UK DBs were blowing that play up and took it away from AR 15...
4. When UK took away the QB run stuff and AR15 short screens....UF was toast. UK challenged him to stay in pocket and stick deep balls, intermediate balls....and AR15 failed in epic fashion. AR15 made Terry Wilson look like Drew Brees. How anyone can argue AR15 is talented and close to really good, etc...just baloney. Inaccurate QBs who can't make good decisions throughout a game need to be either option QBs or safeties....there is little place in legit offense for QBs like AR15....he is a better version of Joey Gatewood.

The kryptonite to White/Stoops scheme are accurate passing teams when our DLine can't rush the pass well and pick apart our zone schemes. We'll see how UK fares vs. UT and Miss St as our next tests.

Agree with your Kryptonite point. Ala Miss St last year and Missouri a couple years ago. Just needle pricked us to death with short timing routes. The one I'm more interested in is UT and how to slow down the hurry up. White figures that out and he'll be king.

Imo wright doesn't get nearly enough credit. Long rangy twitch athlete that plays responsibility but with big play ability.

His absence was the difference vs MSU last year. He just shuts down so much of the underneath and perimeter stuff.
