124 yards and no points in the final 53 minutes. In a nutshell, that sums up UK's offensive staff.
Can sometimes string together a few good plays, but, once the defense adjusts, has no clue what to do. None.
The QB rotation. The insistence on asking Brock to push the ball down the field when he has very little time, has only one receiver he trusts, does not have as strong an arm as needed. No plan to work short patterns, isolate a back in the flat, use the middle of the field where the throws are shorter, etc. Just does not seem our OC has any idea of how to run an offense at the SEC level. And that's on Stoops.
Yes, some of the blame can be placed on players not executing. Maybe some bad luck. But the total lack of preparation, both pregame planning and in game adjustments is unacceptable. Neither BV or GW look any better at reading defenses, finding the right receiver, making an audible, taking what the defense is giving, etc than they did from Game #1. That's lack of coaching.
Brad White is better but he's not great by any stretch, either.
Not sure at this point if Wolford is much of a coach, either. The OL has not improved this season. Don't see much depth being developed, either. Just a whole lot of mediocre to bad coaches on this staff that need to be replaced if Stoops does stick around.
