Boom Williams situation getting distressing

I don't see why he couldn't be a main running back in many NFL offenses. Justin Forsett is actually smaller than Boom Williams and he is an every down back for the Ravens this year. Jamaal Charles is a bit taller than Boom, but right around the same weight, and Charles is 6th in the NFL in yards. Boom could probably be best served with another 10-15 pounds on him, but I don't see anything about his current body style that would stop him from being an every down back.
You also have to realize that few NFL running backs are getting tons of touches these days. Many of them split a lot of touches with other running backs. For instance, Jeremy Hill of the Bengals had 12 rushing attempts this past weekend and Giovani Bernard had 13. Not every team is that way, obviously someone like Adrian Peterson is going to get 20+ carries a game, but many of the running backs now share the load or only get 15 or so rushes a game. Granted he probably needs to polish his game if he wants to be someone in there on the majority of the snaps, but he is only a sophomore in college. He still has plenty of time.

- People are on here all the time asking for info
- Obviously something was an issue with Boom on Sat that people noticed
- Someone calls KSR and references him walking off the field early (which people already stated numerous places) and that he had stripped UK photos from Twitter
- Ryan mentions he heard Boom wouldn't be at practice
- Ryan is mocked
- Mark Stoops later confirms Boom did not practice...
- Now people complain he shouldn't have said anything....when most typically ask for info in general. Should nothing be said until he doesn't suit up Sat? If that happened there would be complaints about the lack of football info.
I'm thinking some of you are aren't happy unless you're unhappy.

If some here don't like the information they find a way to attack or discredit the person providing the information.People want to like or be happy with what they hear( or read)if they are not then it must be wrong even when it is right.
This post is a bunch of bullcrap . On the very same show that the Boom situation was brought to light , Matt was complaining about Calipari saying he was too loyal to the Harrison's . Do you even listen to the show? Because he brought Freddie Maggart on board , I think his football coverage is second to none .
As usual, the KSR slurpers show up to defend all things KSR. They should have left it alone, unless it got bigger.
You very well may be right that he is big enough but l would like to wait until the combine to know exactly how big he is.
I also agree that RB by committee is the norm most places and he could find a fit in that committee.
We also agree his skills are not completely there yet.

.What trumps God-given talent is demanding the respect of your team. If you don't get that, it doesn't matter how much God-given talent is on your team. Treating a kid differently who is extremely talented than someone who isn't as talented simply sends off a horrible message to the rest of the team.
I hope to see Boom back on the field soon.
People for years on this site have been discrediting their KY brother. It has always been "Look at me I'm first with info that I "think" I have". It's quite funny watching certain posters jockey for position of "Mr. Know It All" or the proverbial "I got a source" guy. LOL! I tell you what. Mckenzie and 4 other players were eating at a Chili's, Mckenzie and this lady had words, he told her that he would leave and get some of his friends and come back and kill her. Cops came, took statements from everyone there. The womans dad is in charge of Atlanta corrections. No arrest made, this happened Monday night and he was at practice yesterday. No idea what started it, how it got to the point it did, no alcohol involved, didn't hit her so no idea what will become of it.

Not a good situation. Can't tell someone you are going to kill them, especially the daughter of person in charge of corrections in Atlanta. It probably depends on how far the family wants to take it. Hopefully for everyone it gets settled and they go their separate ways.
Its over with, woman said she may have misunderstood what he said, wasn't going to press charges, no arrest were made he was at practice yesterday. ACCPD said she declined to make charges and after talking to employees and customers they were't filing charges, that the case was closed. I guess Chili's is can be classified as a bar, but it wasn't late, around 10 PM, and kids can still find a way to get themself in an argument.

Still to this day I wonder why Liggins got suspended for that month years ago? There were a ton of rumors swirling but it never officially leaked. Cal makes sure there are no leaks in his ship.
Stoops wouldn't comment yesterday on if Boom will play tomorrow. Here's what I think:
If he plays then it honestly was a personal issue and it was dealt with.
If he doesn't play then Stoops was using coach speak and punishes Boom for his attitude during and after the Mizzo game.

Interesting take,I'll offer a 3rd thought,If Stoops is satisfied that Boom's attitude has had the proper adjustment then he will play.
