UL is running out of boogeymen to blame. It's all UK, Cal, WWW, IU, NCAA, Nike's fault. Soon they'll have to look in the mirror and just accept this. The sooner they do that and clean house the better it'll be for their program in the long run. However, it seems they refuse to do anything and continue to try and deflect.

God, I thought they were paranoid when they thought Calipari and Worldwide Wes were behind everything. But NIKE?? They think a freakin shoe company orchestrated a fake prostitution scandal because they sponsor their rival school?

That's like medication-level insanity.

he's a homer and a nutbag. It's amazing how non objective folks are who went to journalism school, etc. versus someone like Tony Vanetti who I don't think went to journalism school and started out his career as a Rock DJ. Vanetti is actually objective about it while someone like Reed is a total homer and delusional. I listen to that show some because there isn't a UK show on before 9:00 a.m. and they're delusional. It was fun listening last Tuesday because they started out their delusional, homer, defiant selves but when the OTL stuff came out later that morning they were like dead men talking. Now they've had a week to regroup, circle the wagons and they're right back to being their delusional selves again.

It is Nike promoting the new Katina line of high tops. The Ho-Supports, and the Minardi Airs are going to be the big sellers.

Yes we needed to do this to keep our edge when we had the number two ranked class instead of the number one class again. </sarcasm>

I don't get it..if this delusion were true, why would it be? Why is Nike so scared of Louisville? Nike has all the best schools already. They laugh at olde English like the rest of the country does.

So Nike started this in 2010 and waited until 2015 to make it public? They let Louisville win the 2013 title in between without doing anything?

Ok, here's the thing. You're using your brain when thinking about the probability of this. You're NOT allowed to use that. It makes it an uneven playing field.....or something.

I mean, they are the only humans to ever make "infrared" visible considering it's just an invisible form of energy. And wouldn't you just look at that, it was almost the same color as Syracuse! Why WOULDNT Nike be jealous?!?!

Oh sure, Nike who has revenues of $30 Billion+ had a super secret plan to spend a few hundred dollars each on a few strippers/escorts because it was going to propel Nike's business to new heights! Well done Billy, well done.

The Lil Brothel fans were never paranoid until they found out everyone is out to get them.

I actually have to agree with this. I think the Nike conspiracy is a bit much. I am curious as to why he backed off of his first conspiracy which I thought was much stronger. Early in the process he thought that someone may have stolen McGee's phone and set him up. To me, that is much more plausible than a shoe company getting involved. If it was reverse and we were a Nike school, I could maybe see one of the smaller companies like Adidas doing this but why would a top brand do something like this to their lesser competition? Doesn't make much sense. But the phone issue is a legit one that warrants a little more looking into.

The basic fact that anyone seriously believes in any conspiracy is all I need to know. Now run off and play in traffic.

Yea , sure whatever lol, sometimes you just have to shake your head and pity the fools, but hey if it gives them a little false hope , only to be crushed tomorrow or the next day fair enough lol !!
