Seems like some of the media are giddy in speaking about W/L of SEC and Big Ten. I don't know how it will play out, but they might ought to wait until a Big Ten team plays someone other than double digit seeds before acting like they have done something. First chance is today when Michigan plays Texas A&M.
The SEC does have six losses with the eight wins, but only Missouri is a bad loss and only them and 8 seed MIss St.'s loss to 9 seed Baylor are to lower seeded teams. The rest are games the SEC was supposed to lose.

This 100% let's see A&M vs Michigan first before we crown them. I think Big 10 was better seed in everyone of their games. SEC win loss almost exclusively depended on top of SEC or bottom. Arkansas was only SEC team that really was a surprise..good or bad. And even then...not much of a surprise.

That's a really good point. They were favorites in all their games.

All matchups and seedlings but CBS is BIG 10 they need this narrative

We started the NCAA tournament with 14 teams out of 68 so about 20.58% of all teams were from SEC.

After the round of 64 we were left with 8 teams out 32 teams that’s about 25 %.

Let see out of round of 32 how many SEC teams will be left.

Newsflash: 67 teams in the NCAAT will lose before this is over.

Almost all top seeds have advanced. Of the top 4 seeds in each region, only #2 St Johns and #4 Texas A&M have lost.

Media have adopted the Big Ten (what a stupid name, especially now) more than ever in their effort to combat the SEC.

Their refs were completely biased against A&M and I'm sure they'll continue to be that way as the tournament progresses.

Exactly. Let's see how many end up in the Elite 8 before we really compare. The SEC's top 4 could be the entire Final Four - not likely, but possible. Nobody is saying that about the Big Ten.
The "Age" recently ended so now those that were first will be last and those that were last will be first. It's all rigged and they purposely play it out for symbolism. Like IU making football playoffs. But yeah God is real and we're at a turning point if the the end of the timeline.

The Big 12 is dominating this tournament so far, other than KU. They are also 9-1 with several teams left that could actually win it. They just took out a 3 seed Big 10 team with a 6 seed.

Sec 11-7

At the end of today, we might have answer to which conference did best in tourney.

With no big upsets this year, we won’t know who the dominant conference is until the tourney is over. The proof is in the next 2 weeks. Not the last few days.

Angry biased black man that yells
You may not believe this as you apparently live in a bubble, but there are considerably more biased angry white men yelling on shows than black dudes. In fact, there is an entire podcast world that revolves around white men biased and angry about everything and trying to get others as worked up as they are.

But again, if the SEC puts, say 2 in the Final 4, but has an overall record of 17-13, is that good enough for some? No. It's stupid. The SEC got 14 teams in, so at a minimum, the conference will have 13 losses.

I think the sec needs to win the title. I agree I expect 6 sweet 16 sec teams and perhaps 4 elite 8 and 2 in final four.

Looking at today, it's gonna come down to the 3 vs 6 matchups for the sec. Can UK and/or Ole Miss upset their opponents?

I expect Florida and bama to advance with relative ease. And that's 5 n sweet 16.

Kind of agree.
Yes, tournament needed 68 teams and 34 games, and sec provided quite a few of the bottom seeds to lose first game.
That's not for judgement.
But if Florida and Auburn make Final 4, that means Florida and Auburn are good, not sec.
Let's see proportion of sweet 16, maybe elite 8.
