Better Call Saul

*The parking garage appeared to be the same on Walt planted the bomb on Gus's car.

*The pill pusher could be the reason Mike hated Walt and wouldn't allow himself to like him. Wasn't there a scene in BB where Mike tells of working with another person that was killed? I could be mistaken with that.

Great episode, his brother turned out to be a bitch. Parking garage scene was great. Final episode should set up next season.

Interesting twist, so now Jimmy/Saul knows it's been his brother keeping him down all these years. What a sad little POS. And I'm guessing that because of this, he decides to change his name because of what his brother has done to him over the years. Such a great series so far. I loved his character in BB but man is he owning this show.

Really loved the scene after the drug deal where Mike is talking about him being a criminal, but doesn't mean he's a bad guy. You always associate a bad guy as a criminal, but Mike sees the distinction between the 2 and that they don't always equal out.

Just fantastic writing in this show. Sad that there's only 1 episode left, it's just getting started! Really not a bad episode yet.

I totally didn't realize that it was Nacho at the drug deal.

Glad Mike is getting some things going.
I kept waiting for Nacho to reappear...bout time.

I also noticed that the gun guy Mike beat up was the VA for Trevor in GTA5.

Yep. I recognized that voice right away.

Was fantastic.

Man, Chuck is a POS. His claim of Jimmy not being a real lawyer is comical considering he passed the same bar exam that Chuck did. I hate the elitist attitude people show with where they went to school.

The fact that this show is a prequel doesn't allow me to get my hopes up for Jimmy. I know he's going to have this case snatched from him.

Really could not figure out where they were going with the finale but the ending to it left no doubt. Season 2 we will see Jimmy become Saul and the good guy act will be gone.

Wasn't expecting the season finale to be that uneventful. Figured something would happen. All in all a great first season though and we all know the best is yet to come.

Agreed, and I guess everyone else does too since they're not talking about it

I was also disappointed with the finale, especially with the awesome build up the previous week. This felt more like a filler episode. It wasn't terrible, but it was pretty 'meh'. I'm still excited for season 2.

Weird that they spend more than half the episode with Saul in Chicago and chumming with his grifting pal Marco again... I mean, I get it... They have to give him a reason to be "Slipping Jimmy" again. But I was hoping for more confrontation with Chuck and an eventual decision to become "Saul Goodman". That's the title of the freaking show after all..... But we will eventually see it in the second season. Just wish the finale had more pop to it.

Am I the only one who enjoyed the finale? I thought Chicago Jimmy was a great change of pace, and it ended with what we were all waiting for: the beginning of the transition from McGill to Goodman. Gilligan doesn't follow the traditional story arcs TV tends to follow, and that is what is so great about his work.

The third episode of a given season may pack more of the "holy-shit" factor that you guys seem to missing from the finale. That's one of the things so great about the series; each episode has the potential to be a culmination of sorts. I'm just as excited about every installment as much as I am for a premiere or finale.

10 months till the next BCS
