To be determined. He will actually get some coaching there.I really doubt he will play much at LSU. He is just not that good.
He was very over-rated … besides being a good kick-returnerHe’s one of the most frustrating players I can recall. I’m not sad to see him go, but I am sad about Key.
This reflects my current mood on all of the portal departures:
BB will get more @$$ chewings from BK in one week than he got from CMS in 3 years.O/U the number of games before we see clips of Brian Kelly and BB jawing at each other on the sidelines?
He did some good things here but sure seemed like we catered to him more than his production would warrant. Low football IQ, imo. Did not see much improvement as a receiver while he was at UK.
We'll see if it's him or UK pretty soon, I'd imagine.
why? He’s one of the most frustrating players I can recall. I’m not sad to see him go, but I am sad about Key.
I was hoping Key would have a better attitude and show more consistency after Barion moved on. Also it’s a little different since he’s local and his dad played at UK.why?
you may be right.I was hoping Key would have a better attitude and show more consistency after Barion moved on. Also it’s a little different since he’s local and his dad played at UK.
I heard from some insiders that him and a big D-lineman treated practice as a big joke. One would go lay down on the sidelines while the other one goofed off the whole time. There was some big internal issues going on this year.
They'll start a younger player over him. Watch it happen. Then he'll quit them mid-season.Very talented athlete. But the Bayou Bengals probably gonna be disappointed in the payoff.
Depends on how sweet his NIL deal is.....They'll start a younger player over him. Watch it happen. Then he'll quit them mid-season.
What?? I thought several outlets have already reported he signed with LSU.Splash page says BB is returning to UK.
Yeah I never understood all the deep shots either. Almost no success rate on them and rarely even with his speed did he ever have a clear step on his man. The guy was an absolute blaze on kickoff returns when he hit stride but couldnt do the same on routes for some reason and we wasted a lot of down trying to force that. All of those throws would have much better payoff to Dane Key who couldnt run away from anyone either but could have won the jump balls and underthrows a few times. Will be interesting to watch. Imo it was pretty clear he was literally the downfall of the Leary season. After we had to pay him good money to stay, we started hearing about a touch sheet and saw several completely out of character deep shots to him per game that completely threw off rhythm and morale and completely derailed games.
I also truly think thats why coen went into the box and why he started looking for any job he could by mid season. He would've left anyway, but I think otherwise he wasn't so aggressive in the hunt.
After a good freshman year he thought he was too good for uk, took good to accept coaching, and selfish enough to derail at least one season if not two. Notice no produced sappy goodbye from him. He drained nil, wrecked seasons, and left.
Good riddance. Will be interesting to see his reaction to being just a rotation and special teams guy.
There has to be some reason why we didn't throw to BB on slants or shallow crosses which, potentially, would have gotten him the ball at near full speed where he could get a lot of YAC. BB didn't seem to like contact so that may explain the lack of slants but shallow crosses would have utilized his speed and eliminated being chopped in half by a LB/FS right after making a catch. But, hey, I'm not an OC - what do I know?Yeah I never understood all the deep shots either. Almost no success rate on them and rarely even with his speed did he ever have a clear step on his man.
