IMO, it’s all scheme. The chickenshit mentality is what holds the program down & prevents us from truly competing in the conference. If you can consistently recruit in the 20-30 range, like Stoops has here, you can absolutely be competitive against elite programs if you have good coaching/scheming. Playing not to lose will get you beat more often than not & unfortunately, that is the MO of this staff. They are terrified.I question how good he really recruits. You see what happens when a bunch of 3 star players play Alabama and Georgia. Does he recruit better than most coaches we've had here? Yes he does. But every year there are still 10 SEC teams that recruit better than we do
I don't think he has any eligibility options at all. And Leary's is a long shot.
Davis can come back stoops said he could, Leary was the one that was a long shotI don't think he has any eligibility options at all. And Leary's is a long shot.
He's a had a couple of bad passes. But let's be real. Most of his completion percentage fall on our RINOs from the first half of the seasonOnly want Leary back if he figures out how to have a much better completion percentage. 16 of 29 again today. Yuck.
Our fans are usually wrong when we say the announcers are cheering for the opponent but Tessitore literally said roll tide after an INT earlier … lolHow long is Tessitore gonna hang on Bama's nutsack?
I don't want him back unless we actually play an offense that benefits him. We need to mostly be an uptempo no huddle offense with him. He's looked very good when we were forced to speed it up. We run this same 50 something play offense and it's a waste.I wouldn’t hate it if Leary could get a med waiver. Give another year to get healthy and rehab. You see some really good football from him at times.
I’d wait to see what our other choices are before I say I don’t want Leary backI don't want him back unless we actually play an offense that benefits him. Could we actually get a stop?
Moat of the recruiting is all media hypeI question how good he really recruits. You see what happens when a bunch of 3 star players play Alabama and Georgia. Not really. Defense is about to give it's 5 TD of the day. But yeah. Offense is the problem. That failed 4th and 1 really kicks you right in the balls right now.
