The Bama game...What's your prediction?

After the high of last night, I am predicting pain. I love my Cats, and this is nothing against this team because they have exceeded my expectations, but without Butler, this could get away from us fast.
Just like it got away from us fast in Tuscaloosa a couple a weeks ago without Butler? The Cats came out on fire. Bama will probably win, but it won’t be a beat down. Plus we will see a lot more Chandler and less Perry to try to keep Sears in check.

Alabama is full of studs…rested…..they play hard, physical and love to drive the ball, and lastly they badly want Auburn again.

I’m following your logic. And I like it. I think this is more about matchups. For whatever reason we matched up well with Tennessee. We have not Alabama. I hope you’re right.

Sometimes there's too much adversity to overcome. I still think Bama' isn't going to beat us a third time this year, though.

Just a weird feeling to think we'll win, but it's still there. Just like it was for Oklahoma. Weird. We shall see.

That’s a great point on being rested. They don’t play great defense and are 3-4 in their last 7 games, but don’t know how we can out score them. Hopefully they go cold and someone gets hot for the cats!

I think we lose by 9-14 honestly.

Ideally Bama comes out cold due to the double bye which can give us a chance.

they have to have an off shooting night imo. it can happen. the problem is not being able to stay in front of their guards. when that’s the case, it doesn’t take much to get a defense into constant recovery. this means they will likely have to miss open shots.

i am going to assume pope takes away their perimeter and gives them the easier two’s. i’m not so sure i wouldn’t pack in a zone and force them to make 12-15 threes. you can rest more in a zone, and maybe give up less offensive rebounds.

Honestly, if the officials reward Mark Sears for flopping, like they did our previous 2 games, we don't have a shot.
But if we get a good set of officials, we could steal this one.

And how! Really to me, we need Chandler, Perry, Almanor and Noah to play their best game. If we can keep our starters fresh we have a shot.
I'm not sure Perry can play in this game. If he does, hopefully it's not for more than a minute or two at a time. That Alabama backcourt would eat him alive.
Pope had him in for a while last night and Oklahoma quickly dissolved our lead and we lost momentum.

Just focus on interior scoring and forget about the driving action of Alabama. Dont let amari or carr or garrison get in foul trouble. we are going to focus on in the paint scoring. I have a feeling. Oweh needs to remember that lucky shot he made with his left hand. Most of us in our prime, would've gone up with right hand and got blocked...He knew, some how he knew that last nights shot required a left handed attempt to weave through the defense.

As the oklahoma game shows, we play close games, we don't hold very good leads, just enough to win a game.

Every game we win moving foward without Butler and Robinson is yet another feather in the cap of the players and the coaching staff. It won't happen, but wouldn't be interesting for us to play every game beginning tonight vs Bama and have them and each team we would play after that not playing their best point guard and their next best player....I would like our chances
