Yeah but he was supposed to be “best in the transfer portal,” and he without a doubt is not. To be fair, I think his injury diminished his ability. He’s throwing like a guy who had major pectoral surgery. That coupled with not being comfortable in a pro style offense, and he’s been underwhelming.
Bama gave Kentucky 3 chances to make this a little interesting before half and Kentucky shit the bed each time

One year of Leary is more than enough for me. Don’t know how many times this year he has thrown garbage throws downfield when needing less than 10 yards to get a first down.

Two year ago Leary would have been. Torn pec Leary was a risk everybody was willing to take and is just not working. There’s no strength on his down field balls.
The best are the sideline routes where the ball is just completely uncatchable in bounds

Once again look at how our KY media picked the game today and also wait for the soft ass questions they will ask stoops.
I’m more upset with Coen than Leary. He cannot hit these sideline routes consistently. Simplify the offense and give him two reads and a safety valve. Go tempo. Don’t make him stand there making 5 reads while the OLine collapses.

It's the lack of discipline and the constant same mistakes for me. We are having repeated penalties after saying "We will fix it." Lies. You can't talk about the lack of discipline as a coach and say "That's on me." and then act surprised when you don't fix it!

Cal has the no. 1 recruiting class. He has a chance to put us back on top this year. If he can, it washes off a lot of sins. If he cant......it's time to part ways, hence season results pending.
