If UK Administration and athletic department doesn’t know why they should watch more current events. I know not all will agree with this and we are all entitled to our beliefs but I am just a country boy that believes in patriotism, and second amendment.

I'm sure you not alone. It's awful that politics has to be involved, shadowing the real problems in our country.

It will always be Commonwealth to me. Corporate naming blows. I assume OPs post is implying Kroger has done or said something regarding SC decision today.

Can you point on the computer generated Kroger family where Kroger hurt you?

So, exactly how has current events affected your patriotism, second amendment rights, or country boyness?

Back to Commonwealth Stadium please. I don’t even know what the op is talking about but Kroger Field is no good. Like Papa John’s Stadium. Oof. Find the money another way.

That & now their offering transportation/shelter to employees in states that block abortion. Maybe UK will do that too.

If Kroger is doing that than Kudos to them. It is not often that a corporation goes out of their way to help their employees like that. And yes, it would be cool if UK did the same thing for their employees and students.

They’re not doing it for their employees. They’re doing it because it’s much cheaper for the corporation to reimburse the employee for voluntarily killing their baby rather than pay maternity leave and family insurance.

This is very true.

Aw, fun thread is turning a little more serious now.

Anyway, more corporations have decided to do the same going forward. Despite folks like phun celebrating the other day and praising god, you can't stop abortion and despite this being a site of mainly men, hate to break it to you, but a politician who has countless skeletons in his or her own closet isn't going to tell a woman what she can or can't do to her own body if she just found out she's pregnant. If anything, it just makes things more dangerous now and what should be a difficult, private decision will end up being more public going forward because DC is obsessed with what happens in our private lives.

So it's win-win. Good to know.
