Back in the day, I beat a drum

Friendly advice: you can always blame others if you're so inclined. If a problem continues, maybe consider evaluating yourself.

I can't even see the comment prompting this response. The ignore feature is so nice. At any rate, that's just some solid counsel or maybe lyrics from a Skrillex & Diplo with Justin Bieber song. It's definitely one or the other.

Ignoring is in vogue right now , it's all the rage . If you aren't ignoring someone then you aren't message boarding properly . Don't be caught trying to ignore after it goes out of style , it's a worse look than the curmudgeon that never ignored in the first place .

for Gerald Fitch. Anyone remember that? He was a high schooler in Macon, GA at the time. I took it to Tubby and Leon, and said he's a keeper. And he panned out.

Now I'm beating a drum again for Mychal Mulder. He is the real deal. I think there may come times on the court when the accomplishments of Mulder and Murray will be indistinguishable. Yep, he's that good. May not come early, but it will come. Can see a 20 point game or two, and we'll have him next year too.
So, we are somehow supposed to remember an anonymous person talking up Fitch 10 years ago? Or are you saying you had direct contact with the coaches?

I got started evaluating high school players, mostly in the state of Florida, after a long talk I had with Assistant Coach Delray Brooks back in 1993. So I got to see quite a few players that UK got involved with, like Allen Edwards, Gimel Martinez, Desmond Allison, and others that UK didn't get. It wasn't much, just sending in evaluation sheets and doing a bit of background information on some. That lasted until Tubby's third year, then I took myself out of the loop. So I did have limited contact with Pitino and Tubby. Since then I don't have access to any of the coaching staff, though I've met Calipari and have talked once in a while with Antigua, but still can talk with a person in the athletic department, and I don't do that often. Just by way of explanation, so I have considerably less ability to get the goods as I once did.

If Rabbits pooped in the woods and not in the grass then tractor tires would be cleaner. Words to live by.

Man, that's the good stuff.

I said the day Cal signed Mulder that he was so good that his nickname should be "The Truth."
When he is on the court, I'm going to shout "The Truth Is Out There."

Awesome man, you think he is Paul Pierce? Or you just couldn't come up with anything actually original so you just borrowed PP's nickname. Get a freaking clue buddy.

This thread hasn't just veered off course, it's went over the cliff.

I don't know much about mulder, but the more I hear, the more excited I get to see his game.

I agree...i think Murray announcement zapped the starch out of Mulder...but yes i'm excited about him as well.

I love how a topic can quickly go completely off the rails.

I'm very giddy now, only because Dave knows what he's talking about and usually won't put something like this out there unless he truly believes it. I chalked up the Mulder signing as needing a guard, maybe he gives us something maybe not. But if Dave says it, I trust it...get the popcorn ready.

I had completely forgotten that this thread was about Mulder.

I put a bug in Cal's ear years ago about a skinny Davis kid outta Chicago, I said come on coach, give this kid a chance. Turned out pretty well
