At What Point Can You Criticize Cal?

I've been thinking.....No other coach has had this kind of talent the past 5 years. Where are the titles? Do you think Coach K, Tom Izzo, Billy Donovan, etc. would not have won more titles than Cal with this amount of talent?

At som point, you have to question his coaching.

Cal went to 4 Final 4's the last 5 years. In 2011 I thought the loss at Ark that year did them in. UK lost every other road game. I would have never thought we would go to the FF.

Hell two years ago I thought we would lose to K-state in the first round and we went to the Championship game AS A #8 SEED.

We went 38-1 just think about that.

The way Cal gets his young team to play the best in march is outstanding.

He'll get them ready and in the hunt for another title run this season.

I'm not saying this to troll Duke's run. I know they are the main school in college basketball the past 30 year. But IMO UK is having the better 5-6 year run then Duke.

To the OP, you can criticize Calipari anytime you want, but, this isn't last years team so there are going to be some loses along the way. Anyone that doesn't believe that will have a hard time this season...

Anyway, UK has the right BB coach leading the program right now.

If asking why we didn't use our full complement of reasonable resources in this game is bashing, well I guess I am bashing. Cal himself said he was outcoached- last night was a mess all around. But, we HAVE seen these guys play better, and overall it's not a bad thing IF...and I mean IF the Cats learn something. A game like this was bound to happen; better now than in March

Let's see. Tried every possible combination of players (who had been seeing any significant playing time) and tried zone and trap press. Nope, no adjustments at all!
