I have for the most part never met a more patient group of fans than UK football fans. My gosh its been 50 years for me with only a few bright spots. I like Stoops but like in my own work the boss really doesnt care how many phone calls I make or customers I go see, he is interested in what the numbers were at the end of the month.
Thats where we are with Coach Stoops. Its not about the stadium, the SEC TV contract, or even recruiting, in the end, its about wins.
This is season 3 and I would only say to Coach that if I were you Id pull out all stops to win 6 or 7 games. A minor bowl gets you a whole lot of goodwill with the long suffering fans.
This past week recruiting has been a disaster, much of it Im sure not your making, but losing the entire last 1/2 of the season plus one of our own here in the state turning his back on us has been a death blow to recruiting.
Coach go get em. You can do this, but whatever you have to do to get to 6 is going to determine UK football for years to come imho.
