We need to discuss this further...I’d give $20K in a minute.

I don’t. Give me a dime here, I’m dying.Some may get this...
Well, looks like an upgrade for UK to me. But hell, what do I know. I’m a lowly WKU man.Welp, I bought a UK Nike shirt for Christmas. Guess those holiday nuts in Cals living room might have been purchased through my consumerism.
Haggin looks like I’ll finally be able to say I’m UK alumnus by fall of ‘23. Hybrid, so not online either. Thank God they waved testing for grad 😃
You can’t be prejudice against me starting in summer or fall. Just a heads up. Now it’s all together, and I even turned down Michigan to make it happen.
memories with your family maybe? Some of you take this basketball stuff way too seriously. I'd spend everything I had for another afternoon with my mom and dad, but not to watch a bunch of kids younger than my grandkids win a basketball game.5 was what I thought when I read the thread title and I wouldn't bat an eye. We got screwed out of a championship when Wooden retired. This would be some payback for that, and just the joy of living out my days knowing that K lost to us in his last game would be worth that much for me. I've spent more on vacations and what do I have to show for them?
2nd best winning percentage, voted best team of the last decade, 4 FF, a natty. The only coach who was technically better was Jay Wright and it took him 20 y ears to make a Final Four, he would have never lasted here if we hired him instead of Cal.Well, we have been paying a coach $10 million per year with no title in 10 years.
+1When I was younger, whatever I could spare. Now that I'm older, and have different set of priorities, not a damn penny.
When did we start doing ratios? Next we will do y=mx+bBrah you don’t even have a 1:1 like to post ratio, that’s brutal.
I don't know about this one, man. As much as I am strongly passionate about it ... I think my answer is $0. Part of the reason I love sports is for the unpredictability and the exhilaration from the wins. Literally paying money for a title would take some of that away for me as a fan.
Nah. Let’s see if he can do it on his coaching skills alone. I wouldn’t buy him a beer at the present, let alone a title. As for K, he is already considered the basketball God, his not winning it all this year won’t change that. Slurping will never stop for the constipated turtle.Look at it this way. You’re paying to send Coach K, ESPN, and the NCAA out in his final year with a UK championship. Calipari begins the end of K’s run with his second title. He’s got a decade to go if he picks it up, and could easily upend the legacy of K.
Id pay a lot.
ZeroWhat would you pay, out of your own pocket, for a Kentucky title?
I think I'd pay $5,000 today, maybe $10,000 later in life for a title. I think that's worth it, to watch Kentucky win 6 games in the tournament, grab the title, and the joy of it all. But hard for me to spend much more than that. Obviously towards the end of life, that number might rise.
Try and at least be honest here, because I'm pretty curious to see how far people would go. It's an interesting case study in fandom, IMO, and how much sports mean to someone.
I'd also be curious how this differs for your other teams, compared to Kentucky. I'd also like to know how much you could pay before your wife throws you out. lol.
