Arkansas

They should, they have like 18 players on the roster, they reached out to 75% of the players in the portal. I think some are realizing that Muss has brought them in and recruited over them the same time.

I'm not sure what he could do now since he didn't enter the portal.I think he's just a junior so couldn't do the grad transfer.

He did redshirt last year. I think you get a pass if that’s the case. But he may have needed to enter the portal last month. I don’t really know the rules anymore.

It’s probably two end of bench/fringe rotation guys so they can make room to get Holland and Nelson or somebody else

The problem when you go after 700 players is that the players he has might get pissed and leave.
And I'll take a coach like that everytime who is trying to build a winning roster even if some wittle primadonnas get their feelings hurt, as opposed to:

If they add Holland, they take a huge jump to the upper tier this coming season.Based on what the rosters look like today..and things could change....Tennessee,Texas AM,Alabama and Florida are probably top 4 with UK,Arkansas,Miss State close.Auburn will be a handful at their place but not as strong on the road.LSU will be in the same boat.Ole Miss could be the surprise team.
UK needs to add to the roster to make a jump ahead. The SEC is loaded with experienced players.

Why do you have Florida so high? Also, Alabama should be lower than us and Miss St.

Florida has a good team assembled. They got some key players from the portal. They will be tough.Alabama returns Sears and Bediako who will give us fits on the inside.Again, they also got some good portal players. If Holland goes to Arkansas, they make a big jump as they also hit the portal hard and also bring back experience.Miss State has a solid roster put together with experienced players that have been thru the SEC wars.Currently,we have 7 players and only 2 of them have very limited division 1 experience. The freshmen may be talented but NONE have an ounce of experience playing college basketball. Its no AAU season they are fixing to experience.

Bediako is staying in the draft.

I wish Cal was a decent coach…seems Kentucky used to be a place where players wanted to play. Only seven players in the world want to play for John Calipari now, how crazy is that.
He is by all accounts a players first Coach but is known to play favorites, have a short bench that he doesn’t use and can’t Coach an offense.

As we know, that doesn't mean anything. The rumors are that he may leave.
From where?

Arkansas insiders are saying if Trilly is correct about this then the coaching staff definitely isn’t aware of anyone leaving but guess we’ll see.

That recruiting guy Trilly Donovan who gets a lot right just said he's hearing they will lose a player or 2.I wonder who he's talking about?
They offer every portal transfer available.

Coach Musselman and staff don't actually offer that many players in the portal.

He has said several times that they do reach out to a bunch of them right out of the gate to see if there is any mutual interest, and to also try to provide a smokescreen to other programs on who are actually the top targets.

It seems to be quite an orchestrated process, and if there is mutual interest, then the in depth screening, interviews, and discussion regarding team and individual goals begin.

As it should be. Musselman is all about Arkansas. Our coach is about Ellen's brownies, the animal shelter, Brad's tattoos, Draft Night and reminding everyone how much longer he'll be here. It's like hanging fly tape in the center of the room, and the damn fly follows the wall because it can't see.

Seems to be working for him.

Our coach has been hibernating since a second round exit.

Being reported just now that Holland is going to the G-League. That's exactly why you never know.

Hogs still waiting on decisions from Davis and Walsh, along with the pursuit of Nelson and I have no clue of who else if both of them don't return.
