Still, the early years were fun, right up until we lost with Bam/Fox/Monk. It went downhill after that and he's officially washed up. Everyone can recruit with NIL now and his BS approach to out athleting people is useless as the playing field has evened out.

Cal might be a little behind the times, but he did pretty well against better opponents last year. Beating UT in Knoxville on senior day wasnt easy. And walking into Auburn and beating Pearl wasn’t cake either. He also destroyed KU at KU one year.

That game Feb 1 isn’t a guarantee yet.

To be fair, he’s also starting with an entirely new roster, so it isn’t like he had returning players he coached last year that could be building upon what they learned allowing them to start the season stronger out of the gate.

I mean, if he’d had a good core to start with…maybe even something as minimal as one guard, one wing, and one big who knew his complex offensive and defensive schemes, they could help their teammates along. But alas, he is completely hamstrung with an entirely new roster…oh, wait a minute…🤔

All of this is true. If we have live ball turnovers and allow them to offensive rebound they will beat us . I fully expect Arkansas to have their best “effort game” against us . I’m also curious to see if they tighten up like Cals asshole when they play us ,the same way his teams have been doing in the sec and ncaa tournament.

But even if we were to lose …. It is still WELL worth it to get rid of the bum that was bastardizing our program.

The thing is, he did.
He won @Auburn. He won @UT. He demoralized Bama. He may lose in March but he thrives in a lot of these regular season games. And you know he’s extremely motivated for this one. It’s his all time Super Bowl.
