But Jerry Jones is reportedly "offering double" to UK players and recruits. Please! Don't fall for it.

This, along with the FedEx deal, are nice to throw up at the beginning. But someone is going to look at this money, see that it really didn't get them anything, and those dollar amounts will go back to nothing in a few years.
No way this stuff lasts. You don't HAVE to spend double or triple what other teams are spending, just to win a national title.. something that probably isn't going to be worth the money at places like Arkansas or Memphis
Like, cool Memphis won a national title and only had to spend 30million.. all they will get for it is a 10% boost in apparel sales and more riots in downtown. Congrats!
Huh? He builds teams for MARCH. Uh huh. He's shtick is long past it's expiration date. They picked him up in the bargain bin aisle and still paid too much.
Sucks to be a poor now doesn't it?But Jerry Jones is reportedly "offering double" to UK players and recruits. Please! Don't fall for it.
Been saying this from the beginning. This, along with the FedEx deal, are nice to throw up at the beginning. But someone is going to look at this money, see that it really didn't get them anything, and those dollar amounts will go back to nothing in a few years.

No. It sucks to be an Arkansas fan with John Calipari and sleazy Bob Petrino as your coaches.Sucks to be a poor now doesn't it?
And I'm hearing he likes his team.Huh? He builds teams for MARCH. Uh huh.
Our government seems to have the same idea. If you throw enough money at something, surely it will fix itself, right? Without ever trying to dig in and understand the roots of the issue. Cal had some of the best players here for the last 5 years, and he didn't produce. You can give him all the money to get all the talent, but he doesn't manage it as well as he once did. He now has a chip on his shoulder and something to prove, so we may see a new invigorated version of Cal. He had grown soft here. Maybe giving him all the money and all the talent in a different situation like Arkansas may propel him to succeed. I'm just saying it didn't happen here for the last 5 years with those resources. He can't blame that on Mitch or the administration. He was still getting players, the results were on him alone. This, along with the FedEx deal, are nice to throw up at the beginning. Why would we match dollar for dollar when he would come for less? But Jerry Jones is reportedly "offering double" to UK players and recruits. Please! Don't fall for it.
But he overpaid in the worse way and did it.Jones doesn't even want to pay his own QB. Why would he want to dish out for Cal's mercenaries?
His willingness to take less is an admission of regression. Why would we match dollar for dollar when he would come for less?
This is something I hope is true. If it is, then getting rid of the NCAA ref bias would be the greatest part of getting rid of CCC.Maybe with Cal going to Arkansas the NCAA’s microscope goes there with him!
Yes, I agree. His performance has called into question his whole "players first" system. I think he will be driven and consumed to prove his legacy to basketball. His system failed at The Premier basketball school. I personally don't see how success with the system at a second-tier school can shore up his legacy. Our government seems to have the same idea. However you want to view it, not sure why it matters, you got what you wanted…we got what we wanted, no reason to be bitter. His willingness to take less is an admission of regression.
It’s not they don’t care, it’s they have no confidence in the coaches. Let’s say we hired…Urban Meyer (just an available big name, not a real candidate or even somebody desirable) you’d see the same push from Boosters to support and provide the tools. Cal is the equivalent of Urban Meyer without all the baggage and off the field stuff. Pittman…not so much. How does UK who allegedly has the worst NIL in the conference besides Vandy, an AD who doesn’t support NIL, and has JMI hurting NIL outrecruit Arkansas in football 2 of the 3 years that NIL has been a thing? Something’s not adding up. Maybe Jerry Jones and the other booster’s don’t care about football.
You would think that Arkansas would be more concerned about going toe-to-toe with Texas A&M for football recruits? How does UK who allegedly has the worst NIL in the conference besides Vandy, an AD who doesn’t support NIL, and has JMI hurting NIL outrecruit Arkansas in football 2 of the 3 years that NIL has been a thing? No confidence in leadership of football program, it’d be a poor investment (in their opinion). You would think that Arkansas would be more concerned about going toe-to-toe with Texas A&M for football recruits?
Your stay here will be short-lived. Bless your heart.Sucks to be a poor now doesn't it?
They are shopping in the discount bin at Wal-Mart with their coach, but they are voluntarily overpaying for recruits out of spite. If they are going to act like they are swinging a big money D with the outlandish headlines, then do you see how this doesn't compute? They didn’t have too, CAL wanted out and squirmed his way to Arkansas.
Maybe he'll sell the Cowboys to become more liquid...and give them a chance to win a Super Bowl again. He was going to draft Johnny Manziel! He's not all there.Jerry Jones is worth a few billion more than the Craft's so maybe he can make up the difference.
