Arkansas…

I hope they freaking lose against Pacific. I really do. Their defense is flat out awful.
Pacific shot very well from first half in the first half so their defense hasn't been great this game, but Arkansas' defense is actually statistically quite good this year. Disclaimer about Kenpom early season rankings not being 100% accurate, but before this they were a top 10 Kenpom defense this season. Kenpom isn't inaccurate enough right now for reality to be that Arkansas has a flat out awful defense.

Johnell Davis is improving. He got 8 points against Pacific vs his usual six.

Can you imagine paying what they paid for that kind of consistent lack of production?

Cal and team injuries are synonymous.

that was the first thing that truly jumped out at me yrs ago with the previous staff(s) - the IR list & rotations was football like -

Thinking back to Sutton Pitino or Hall teams there were injuries but not so many & fewer continuous, chronic injuries

BOWIE was maybe the Grandfather of bad injury stories with UK though - IMO anyway

Bennett and Beal both had knee injuries -

Anyhither...

Thiero continuing to lead the team doesn't surprise me. A Cal team shooting 29% in the first half doesn't surprise either.

Cutting the Hogs lead to 2 with only 12 minutes left against Pacific. That doesn't shock nor surprise me either.

Coach Cal pleading with Arkansas fans to return the tickets for a game to the University or give to a neighbor, or maybe donate to goodwill, now

THAT

Surprises me.

This is comic drama of the highest order. Hogs are really getting their money's worth with that Hall of Fame coach.

Cutting new ground as the first (and only) hall of Fame coach / ticket office clerk.

My, how the mighty have fallen !

I think the recruiting classes may appease a decent portion of the fan base for a few years anyway.
