Based off this ALONE, rank the teams you absolutely dislike the most. Base your decisions off history, ref calls, losing big games, coaches, and fan base.

You can only use these following teams:
Louisville, Duke, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, Kansas, Indiana, UCONN (Uconn is only here because of recent tournament losses)

Here is my list:

1. Duke
2. Louisville
3. North Carolina
4. Tennessee
5. Kansas
6. Indiana
7. UCONN
8. Arkansas
9. Florida

What does your Rank List look like?

4. UNC
5. Tennessee

Don’t really look at anyone else as a rival anymore. Indiana would be high on the list if we get back to playing them at some point.

Going forward UConn might be a bigger threat than Duke. They have more titles over a longer stretch of time with multiple coaches. They're only two behind us.

Duke has no guarantees of not being the new Indiana. Conference realignment is really going to be a problem for Duke.

I’m a purist with Louisville, Duke, UT and Indiana comprising my entire list.

If we’re adding UConn and UNC I’d throw Michigan State on there as well. Hate that effing team.

1. UNC. Just because they were allowed to cheat for decades and never got punished for it. Also because Dean Smith was a complete A-hole and so were many of his players. Not only was Smith responsible for the four corners (a disgrace to the game), he was also one of the first coaches to teach flopping.

2. Indiana. Because even though we own them both head-to-head and especially in terms of overall accomplishments, they have the single most vile fanbase, IMO.

3. Duke. For Laettner, Grayson Allen, and every other entitled prick who has ever played there. Also K the phony sore loser.

I really don’t hate any other schools. Tennessee has never won a damn thing in basketball so they aren’t worthy of being hated. Louisville is just a laughingstock and perpetual little bro. Kansas is a joke too in that they claim to be the birthplace of basketball, yet their trophy case is exceedingly bare, to the point they have to claim fake bread company titles. Again, too pathetic to hate. UConn… can’t really hate them because their teams have just been damn good and found ways to win. We got jobbed on a call or two in 2011, but ultimately couldn’t hit FT’s. Then in 2014 Cal just had a crappy gameplan, plus they had battle-tested veterans going against our usual freshmen. I hate that they have 6 titles, but I don’t hate them as a program (although their fans are typical yankee blowhards). Besides, I kind of like that they now have more titles than Duke and IU, and are tied with UNC, while we’re still ahead of all of them.

I made an audible and swapped Duke and Louisville with Duke being number 1 now.

I think for me, I have always loathed Duke. They have the scummiest players, for some reason most of them are white guys LOL. They get all the calls. The media sucks them off, and they can do no wrong. Thankfully rat face is gone. I would say that their fans don't irritate me, only when I watch them at Cameron Indoor. The Laettner thing is definitely a heavy consideration. Plus Duke is a Blue Blood and that excels them over Louisville. Plus, lately to me Louisville is just whatever, I don't care about them, but their fans are the lowest common dominator next to Indiana fans.

1. Louisville (39-17 since 1913)
2. Indiana (32-25 since 1924)
3. Tennessee (161-78 since 1910)
4. Duke (12-11 since 1930)
5. Kansas (24-12 since 1950)
6. North Carolina (18-25 since 1924)
7. Florida (110-42 since 1927)
8. Arkansas (36-14 since 1945)
9. UCONN (1-4 since 2006)

It really depends what you mean by rivals. If we are talking wins and championships Puke and Kansas are at the top, if we are talking vile or horrid fans and schools then a few other teams like IU and UL would be closer to the top.

What’s makes the white guys scummy?

Leattner, Hurley, Sheyer, Reddick, Ferry, Parks etc etc were great college players. I get that Allen kid tripped people…so white kids are bad and scummy?

If so get used to hate if we actually win a lot these next 10 years.

It's just funny that the white guys on Duke were always the worst. Not sure why that was.

Mine are
dUKe. Golden child of ncas
Unc****** dean smith and 4 corners
Ucla. Bought all the championship
Norte dame. Digger phelps

I would like to add Wisconsin into the mix. They have cost us a couple of probable titles over the years.

1. UCONN
2. Tennessee
3. Duke (mostly because of K and that they are media darlings)
4. Wisconsin
5. Everyone else

Honest question, if Laettner doesn’t hit that shot in 1992, who still has them in their top 3?
In that case I doubt they'd even be in my top 5.

As it is I've got them as a strong number 1 personally.

Which is weird when I think about it.

The only meaningful game they ever took from us was one Elite Eight game.

UCONN sent us home from the Final Four once and from the title game once. Both relatively recently, at least compared to that Duke loss. And on UCONN I'm frankly mixed between thinking Hurley is a dick and wishing we could have been just like them the past 25 years.

Now it's true, I did love Mashburn and The Unforgettables more than I loved our '11 or '14 teams.

But not by so very much. Especially not vs that Knight/Lamb/Jones/Liggins/Harrelson squad.

But I guess I'd have to go with that as the reason I detest Duke so much—that they took the '92 Final Four and likely title away from us and broke The Unforgettables' hearts.

And maybe also just because we came so incredibly close to beating them then that we had even believed we had already beaten them. For the length of one timeout.

It has to be one of those. Because it's true: Unlike UCONN, Duke also has general ratface douchebaggery, the mysterious Lance Thomas free pass, floor slapping, cross-dressing, the tripper, Zion's "The University of Duke" shenanigans, Zion's house, abject terror of playing outside Cameron Indoor, and a seemingly unending array of (subjectively) convenient seeding/scheduling anomalies and (subjectively) more-than-typically-questionable calls to account for.

But if I'm honest, all those things justify my loathing of that program and surely aggravate it. But I don't think they really cause my loathing of them. It's there without any of that. In fact, in a strange way I doff my hat to them for all that other stuff. If you're gonna be a villain, why not go for broke and be a real, iconic, generationally-hateable larger than life movie villain? Imo Duke has done a bang-up job of that.

Duke and UNC....... Louisville.
I have hated Duke since Dick Vitale started slobbering over them back when ESPN became a thing. Vitale would give pitches to recruits every game. Even when he was announcing a game that didn't involve Duke, he would talk nonstop about Coach K and the Dukies. Vitale would also manage to mention the Michaelangelo of coaching, Dean Smith. A distant third would be a Pitino coached UL.

Honest question, if Laettner doesn’t hit that shot in 1992, who still has them in their top 3?
They'd still be #1 for me. Everything about that program is annoying as hell. Holier than thou coach who never got called out on it by the media, cringey program and fan culture (have you ever seen one of those Duke student cheer sheets?), insufferable players who are annoyingly better than they have any right to be given their lack of athleticism, successful enough that they always make deep runs. I hate everything about that program.

UL, UT. We play them every season.

Of the others it's UNC for me. We have a losing record to them.

The others I just root for them to lose every game.

The 7 deadly sins of UK Basketball are as follows

1. Tennessee Goes back to the Ernie, Bernie days!
2. Louisville Enough Said.
3. Duke Coach K the anti christ of Kentucky basketball.
4. Florida Had a couple of good years and they think they are it. Fans are horrible.
5. UCLA Cheated more than any other team out there for 12 years and got away with it.
6. Kansas Just do not like em.
7. ESPN The ruination of all sports. The KY hatred is real! Honorable mention: UNC.

These sins are deadly to the way of life as a Kentucky fan. We have to daily exorcize these from our lives. Get up in the morning, burn something orange (ugly orange), see a red bird and curse at it, see some preppy dude on the street and throw your coffee at em, face south and spit 3 times, watch the idiot actors that think we actually care about their political viewpoints, think of BBQ and curse a jayhawk and finally turn off espn, forever. Honorable mention: see a goat and kick it (not really). lol

Two of our hated teams now playing on ESPN+. #4 & #6

The two “Tobacco Road” teams …Duke and UNC …top this list for me. I despise both nearly equally and easily more than anyone else.

UL used to be right there with em. But in recent years my view of UL seems to have shifted closer to pity than hate.

Louisville is and will always be No. 1
Duke
Tennessee
North Carolina
Kansas
Arkansas
Florida
UConn
Indiana

Mad props to the guys who are not including Louisville. You don't include a program that won four games last year.

Duke just makes me want to barf. They and UNC (the cheating) are the only 2 I just want to see lose every game they play.

UL is slipping because they’re so bad, but they’re still in state and the fans are insufferable. Also hookers.

UCONN is dangerous because of recent titles, 2 of which should have been ours 😡

I can’t stand Tennessee fans (one in particular) but I don’t hate the team itself. Besides, Rick Barnes has removed himself from consideration from being our most headed rival.

I haven’t really considered Arkansas a rival since the 90’s but it’s going to be really interesting with their new coach. What’s his name again?…

Florida. Eh. I like Todd Golden and I like that they’re looking better again.

I didn’t even list Indiana because they’ve sunk to such mediocrity that I don’t really think about them any more. They’re not really a rival. Which is pretty funny when you think about it. When you’re comparing great programs, apathy is really the greatest insult you could give a team.
