Appalachian State at Kentucky (Sun)

Golda puts Kentucky ahead with another no doubt HR. Sure seems like HR's are pretty much no doubters.

Harmon grounds out into a DP. Harmon hit it pretty sharp and was out by several steps to get the second out.

They don't score Golda's attempted play which booted off his glove as an error so Degen fills in, getting the error on the pick off throw.

Next batter lofts a single over 3rd scoring the runner on 2nd so once again our errors cost us runs. Make that 13 errorless games in a row to get to 980 fielding percentage.

Shelby and Cam Hill collide in short left center. Shelby made the catch but is banged up. Hill is def injured don't know how severely. Two outs and a reshuffled outfield with Zeke Lewis in right and Daniel in left.

Degen gets the strikeout so we head to the bottom of the 8th at 6-6.

Tie game again. Hill injured in left colliding with Shelby going after one in shallow left center. They put some sort of cast on his arm.

Some terrible luck for Hill.

Lewis was in center that inning, took Shelby out. I wonder if he is really hurt from that collision?

Going to the 12th. Is that 10 straight UK batters down with out a hit?

Bases loaded with our speed guys: Harmon, Collett, and Anu with two outs.

Going to the 13th. UK had bases loaded with two outs and couldn't get the timely hit.

Not sure who Mingione could have used but not pinch running for Harmon was a mistake.

Collett grounds out to 2nd with the bases loaded and two outs to end the 13th.

Lewis grounds to 2nd with 2 outs to end the 14th. Is this repetitive or what? We had runners at 1st and 3rd.

Daniels gives up a walk but gets a ground out to 3rd to end the top of the 15th. Somebody has to get mad and end this thing.

After 6 hours of baseball UK wins without getting a hit with a bases loaded walk to win 8-7.

Bases loaded walk to Anu wins it for Kentucky. App State used their rightfielder to try to close it out. 8-7 Kentucky in 15 innings.
