Between the UNC and Memphis/Kansas game? Those damn timeouts in the final seconds.

I liked the 30 for 30 it's what I expected. Don't think it's possible that can hurt recruiting. Sucks when he pushes players out the door, but that's life. Like it says in the program Calipari pushes reality in life.

I get so tired when I hear that. He doesn't push anyone out . He tells them the truth. But if they want to come back like WCS did as a junior ( even though he would of been a top 10pick or like Poythress did after his freshman year( when he would of been a top 20 pick) or like Bam might want to do this season he takes them with open arms. What he is not going to do is guilt trip a kid . But if a kid presents a good reason to come back like T jones did or WCS ect he loves them back. One of the worst misconceptions about Cal.If a kid is going to be a top 5 pick he aint going to let that slide without a damn good reason .

Sorry yes, Cal does push some out the door. It's complete delusion if you don't believe that. It's not only factual through player statements, but it happens right infront of your eyes. Cals main pitch is "quickest" route to the NBA. He can't sell that if he talks 80% of the roster into returning.

Not a hard concept to grasp.

Who's pushing? What would DeJuan Wagner have done if he came back and had half his colon taken out? Broke as hell. That's what.

Uh idk when multiple players in the segment said they want to come back but Cal says your in the lottery and you have to go. Cal says "tore up his scholarship" I guess Cal wanted him back

It's clear. Actually it couldn't be any clearer.

Then he had colitis. Call knows his players would be set for life if they leave early cause if Wagner left later, he wouldn't have much money enough to support himself.

At any other program he would've stayed, but Cal tells him to go he makes millions. Ppl don't understand that "Cal pushing them out the door" can be good for them. It's not a negatory comment all of the time.

Cal NEVER pushes the players that are marginal 1st round picks, 2nd round or not even going to be drafted, that choose to leave, "out the door". He only encourages those kids that are at their highest potential draft status to go.

Why would he encourage a kid to return when there is ALWAYS the possibility of an injury that could compromise a players top earning level?

These coaches that convince kids to return when they are ready are the ones that Cal is exposing with his "players first" mantra.

I know it sucks to think about, but all it made me think was how lucky we probably are that the lockout allowed Jones back. Not something I talk about with rival fans and most just forget about it, but I don't think he returns at all had that lockout not taken place. Who knows if that ship would have been possible.

Scary thought didn't happen never mind.

Yea he's really exposing them, he got poor roy big time cause, Roy just won a national title with returning players...haha roy, Cal exposed you! Well played sir.

No way would we have won a title without T.Jones. Jones is perhaps the most under-rated player of the Cal era, what a beast he was while he was here. You are right by the way, no way in heck he comes back if not for the lockout.

But Roy is a cheater. And cheaters only win in NCAA sports.

And roys legacy is toast. He knows it. Nixon can claim he was a president but it doesn't help.

Besides the point where they subtly hinted atUNC and Duke not being able to adapt to UK?

Why has Roy himself stated numerous times that he has RECRUITED most of the same One-and-Done players we have signed, only he couldn't get them?

Because Ol Roy KNOWS his ride is OVER because he can't hang with Cal from this point forward. Sure he caught lightning in a bottle with this championship, but what happened to Roy in 2011? 2012?

Cal rides comfortable in the back with a fat blunt, the Lamborghini is UK, and Mitch is the tag along trailer holding Cals dry cleaning.
Much better, Cal doesn't ride b***** he actually is the person that lets ppl on the ride, a conductor if you will

This is true, he does push some out but he pushes the ones that you should push. If you're a top 5-10 pick then of course you push them because you never know what could happen. It's unlikely that you're stock will get much better just like when he tore up john Walls scholarship

Actually his pitch is I can get you playing at a high level faster and point out your flaws, tell you what you're not good at to get you better, and not promise you time where you have to work, which in turn will get you to the NBA quicker.

That's why people like shabazz, and Trevor lacey,Xavier Henry, etc don't come here is they don't like being told what their flaws are

I feel like there is some revisionist history in here with Jones coming back because of a lockout. I don't recall that at all. I could be wrong though.

Also, Cal doesn't push anyone out who shouldn't be pushed out for their own good. The problem is some kids now come here thinking they have to go pro ASAP because others do when they aren't ready. But that's the price you have to pay I suppose.

Name 1 that he totally shoved out the door where the kid did NOT want to go and it was NOT in the kids best interest. Provide documentation rather than the normal worthless 'insight'.

You are brainwashed like the other sunshine pumpers, you are nuts to say cal doesn't push anyone out, as we just heard several players say that he would not let them come back. Enjoy having our deep bench players leave to chase their "dreams" while other teams return all americans. We are never getting another title this way, sorry sunshine pumper.

Some of you guys hear what you want to hear. Not one player that wasn't a lottery pick said anything about Calipari pushing them out. I do believe and even Cal said int he Documentary that if your a lottery pick your going and why would you want to come back. Some of you will see how great we have it right now with Calipari once he is gone.

He isn't "pushing deep bench players out". He does advise lottery picks to go because it's the financially smart thing to do for them.

There's that loser mentality that all sunshine pumpers have in common. Tell me, since you love not winning titles so much, why not pull for the vols or something?

You know we only have 8 titles in 100 something years of basketball. That's the 2nd most behind a program that hasn't won one since 1995. My point being, if you're only cheering on titles as success of a program, you have the opinion you have right now and no coach is going to make you happy.

Cal has us in contention nearly every year. Yes, I would love another title (looking at you '15) but the program is in great shape and gives us a chance every year. Mich St and Arizona. Those were the two teams you apparently want UK to emulate. Last titles for both were in '97 and 2000.
