Do you think they regret going to Rutgers? I know they probably went to the highest bidder but basketball players are competitive. No one wants to play on a sorry team.

I mean, Wall and Cousins made UK competitive day 1.

If these two top5 recruits can't get Rutgers to compete in a conference that's undoubtedly not "all that" as its not the SEC, than thats on them.

But they probably couldn't care less. Lol

Different era. Wall and Cousins didn’t play against teams full of 5th year guys. And Harper and Bailey are not built like those two either. They were grown men.

Also, Rutgers doesn’t have a Patrick Patterson to help them out.

Yeah talk about comparing apples to oranges. Like another poster said, it would have been interesting had the center not transferred to Bama.

Probably more than anything, the game is no longer played in a way where players can use just sheer athleticism to dominate games, like a John Wall or Derrick Rose could.

Patterson does help our case, as does Miller and Liggins.. but Rutgers still has some talent.

Or an Eric Bledsoe and backup center Daniel Orton
