Definitely sounds as if he would love a UK offer and to play for Cal but I have found nothing that says he said the offer from Louisville was no big deal. He has offers from Zona, Kansas and Virginia as well. The quote I saw said he was hoping for an offer from UK, Duke and UNC but that if he did not get an offer from any of those three he was good with the schools he does have offers from.

I would too. I want players who love UK. One analyst yesterday said he was one of the three best players he saw the first day at Top 100 camp.

I don't think we need to get too worked up about a kid saying they are wanting a UK offer.

These kids just want to be able to say that UK wants them.

It doesn't mean he'll choose UK as soon as we offer.

He also said he wanted a UNC and Duke offer.

These kids "collect" offers like baseball cards.

Sorry to seem so cynical, but it's the truth. They just want the offer from the big boys to put on their resume.
