#15 Louisville falls at home to SMU 34-27 ( Overrated as usual )

Is this accurate

Ky has won the last five meetings…not two. They last beat us in 2017..Lanar last year. Or is the 2021 win count as a vacated win that is causing this streak to break?
Y’all have an advantage 16-15 in the modern series, 19-15 if you count the games in the 1920’s. That’s counting tho 6 out of the last 7 wins for y’all.

UL was an average team last year with a very easy schedule. Their weaknesses were exploited in their last three games. The toughest stretch of their schedule.

They are better this year, but their schedule is not as easy.

Once Stoops got out of the hole that he stepped into at UK, he has done very well against the Cards. Had UL not had Lamar, UK with Stoops would probably have one or two more. Such a talent can mean a couple of Ws on your schedule.

My opinion on UL hasn't changed a whole lot:

-They're an average team with some good skill players (QB, WR, in particular), which makes them dangerous.
-Their QB is better than I thought he'd be, as he has often been injured. Will he make it through the season with that OL?
-Their line play is BAD, and it should be the main reason that UK fans should feel good about picking up a 6th straight win against them.
-Their Defense is bad. I've never been a believer in Ron English, and this year supports my opinion.
-Brohm gets too cute sometimes. Always has.
-They will win at least one game that they shouldn't win (I'd take them at home against Miami). But they'll lose at least one game on the road that they "shouldn't" (my guess is BC).
-They can lose against every single team left on their schedule, but only Clemson (and maybe UK?) are not winnable for them.

University Six came into the game at 10-1, playing at home on Senior Day on national television against a reeling UK team that had dropped 5 of their last six games. With a win, they finish 11-1 and if they win the ACC title game against a Free Shoes U™ team using a student manager at QB, they had an outside shot at the CFP. They had EVERYTHING to play for, but instead, lost to UK, lost to an offensively impotent Free Shes U™ team in a game where the University Six offense spun their wheels for 60 minutes in an embarrassing loss, then they lost by 2 TD to a depleted USC team playing their 3rd string QB.
