Reed and Reeves get beat 1 on 1 WAY too much. Reed makes up for a lot of it with heads-up plays off-the-ball but my god our on-ball defense is terrible. Bigs don't rotate well at all either especially Mitchell and Bradshaw

Kentucky has made 3 shit offense teams look good in rupp. You cannot rely on scoring 90-100 every damn game, since the 6 min mark Kentucky hasn’t even attempted to play defense at all
They have jumped out on those and shoved all night. Refs cool with it.
I see it brother, but on a night where the shots aren’t falling, you have to be able to at least show the other team down a bit.

Exactly.. create a college version of GSW. Those teams were just impossible to guard at their peak. How did you want it? Steph Shooting 3's, or Klay shooting them? How about KD who is unguardable on his own? Or Brilliant post player Dray? Or the 6th many Iguadala? Or the best bench in the league?
The only thing we dont really have here is a KD. We have everything else, just the lite version of GSW.
I do think some of this letting up on defense is to be expected when you're up 25 and it's played at such a fast pace, but it's still frustrating when this should have been a blowout win

Blowing a 30 point lead and giving up 95+ to UGA is freaking terrible
33-14 on fouls. Not denying our defense is bad, but the refs have helped UGA a lot.
The ref on the baseline is basically incompetent.
Some of it is because we had a 30 point lead. Also cal pulled them back some to run clock which changed the rhythm.
I’ve been saying Cal needs to stay out of the way.

that's great but we don't play a best of 7 tourney. 1 off night and we can't rely on defense.....
Would rather be ahead offensively at this point. Defense is effort. We have some guys who can defend if they need to. Not that worried about it honestly.
