“Raw Recruits” and “Soul Influence”

In case anyone is in the mood and because college basketball recruiting really hasn’t changed much in 20-30 years, these are both great reads on CBB recruiting scandals.

Raw Recruits is late 80s/early 90s and Soul Influence is late 90s. Both are classics.

I haven't read Soul Influence but Raw Recruits is great.

I love basketball books. Unfortunately there just aren't a whole lot of good ones.

Darcy Frey's The Last Shot is very good. Kind of Hoop Dreams in book form. Stephon Marbury was in sixth grade IIRC and is featured in there. I believe it was named by SI as the greatest sports (basketball?) book ever written.

“Miracle of St. Anthony” may be the best of the bunch.
