Stoops is an embarrassment. 12-13 years and still has nothing figured out, ill-prepared and confused half the time. Clark Lea takes Vandy, the tenured doormat of the SEC, and has them playing like we wish we could in 4 years, not 12 years. Lea was an assistant, Stoops was an assistant. It's coaching and nothing else, some coaches are simply better and its great ADs that can find them. Great coaches don't make excuses while mediocre coaches will always have a laundry list of excuses.
