The fit for the system thing is overdone. Great basketball players are great basketball players. I can assure you Pope is looking for great basketball players. Shooters, paint enforcers and athletes that do it all.
Another one and done for sure. Not just another because of his ties to the program. No ill will from me for pursuing his dream and striking while the iron is hot. Just too many variables over the course of another season.
Don’t be so sure. It’s absurd to think because someone has money, significant money, that they wouldn’t want or seek more. It’s equally silly to think one wouldn’t want to seize the greatest opportunity of his lifetime.

He’s a great player. The perfect example of a guy who wanted to get minutes but scared Calipari would pull him for making a mistake. He can play. Needs the opportunity in a more “relaxed” environment.
Most important piece of the puzzle right now. The assistants will be a likely determining factor in Pope’s success or not. Go get Rondo, try to keep Ullis if possible, find some dawg recruiters and roll. Lets go Pope!
