I somewhat agree but this Germany team is much bigger than us and it hasn’t been a problem. It’s the 3s that are killing us.

Kentucky's looked really good until the end here, where Germany pulled within 10. Wagner, Reeves, and Mitched looked solid. Reed showed great defense.

Reeves is gonna flourish in an actual offense as opposed to last years monstrosity.

Is it just me or does Reed drift too much on his jumper? A couple of times he has been fading to his left instead of getting square and going straight up. I'm sure they will get that fixed over the next few months.
Just know that come SEC time it's going to be hack us to death and we won't get calls.

True...that said none of those teams in Bahamas were as good as Germany team.
Not a bad result overall. We had some freshmen shine, some struggle, the vets showed out, Thiero proved his worth, no one else got hurt and we won.
its great to hear the name Sheppard on the Radio call again... just the sound of it takes me back to 98.
I'm just holding judgement until I see what we do on the college floor. Not gonna get to giddy until we put some hurt on the T25.
Whenever Cal starts talking about his Canadian guys like Shai and Murray, I can't help but shake my head at how Wiggins missed his chance to be part of something truly special with that 2014 team.

That was such a special team. Loved those guys. Probably the most likeable UK team in history.
Evidently, they played to lose because that’s what they did.
I know we moan about the refs more than any fan base, but after a decent full game, they (two Canadian refs in Canada) really turned on the WTF around 2:47 left to allow Germany to make it appear closer than it really was. Some (most) of those calls in that cluster from 2:47 down to around :57 were clearly favoring closing the gap. Remember, we play Canada during this trip, in Canada, so hopefully those clowns aren't calling that one (they probably are).
I really like Thiero last year, thought he should have got lots more PT. I was sure he would transfer. Hes going to be the biggest surprise of the season.
When you've got a guy like him as your 4th or 5th scoring option, it really speaks to the level of quality depth a team has.
